Growing up in a social-oriented farm town like Ferncombe was the perfect beginning for Wren, the young girl finding her place in her little town almost immediately as someone willing to assist anyone she met without asking a single question. The moment Wren was able to walk, despite not being able to truly comprehend or speak, she was offering her assistance, carrying a mini shopping basket around the markets with her mother, or waddling to her neighbors' doorsteps to drop off the daily paper with her father. Residents and travelers alike found Wren's helpful nature to be not just entertaining, but entirely endearing, and it became common knowledge to allow Wren to help rather than deny her. Even when the circumstance arose where Wren was too young or inexperienced to help, she would clap and cheer and show her support while the work was done. She became widely known as everyone's "little cheerleader", beloved by everyone who lived there and passed through.

Even as she grew old enough to enter the schooling system, her teachers adored how helpful she was around the classroom, passing out papers for them or even learning how to grade tests for them if her teachers had other obligations. Her classmates, despite many of them taking advantage of her kindness, enjoyed her helpful personality, letting her tutor them or help them with their homework. Even through middle school and high school, Wren continued to assist where necessary, even becoming president of her class and assisting with her class funding for prom and other field trips. At graduation, she was awarded many certificates and honors for her kindness and willingness to serve others, and many hoped she would move forward and become a missionary or volunteer worker after high school. Though, Wren ended up doing one better and catching the eye of the new head of Firefly Valley, Hotaru, who snagged her from the workforce immediately and hired her as her personal assistant. Currently, Wren is still working for Hotaru, helping her with loads of paperwork and other errands she is needed for when the young leader is too bogged down with business meetings or other obligations.
