Veloria was born in the city of Graycott, home to most of Grento's population. Her parents weren't necessarily ready to take on the responsibility of raising a child, but they made do with the resources and familial support that they had, making sure that the young girl had a stable and healthy home and family environment. Throughout her childhood she spent most of her time with her grandparents, her parents traveling quite often to their jobs in the city of Zenovia, leaving Veloria to spend her time having fun with her Nana and Papa. Whether it was chilling on the couch with some TV dinners and watching old sitcoms, or outside on the balcony, Veloria enjoyed the connection she had with them and always dreaded going home despite loving her parent dearly. Even though Veloria adored being home and spending time with her mother and father on the weekends, Veloria would yearn consistently to be back at her grandparents, where she could do the one thing she loved most- stargazing.

Unlike her parent's loft apartment in the downtown part of Graycott, her grandparents lived further away on the outermost side, where there was a clear view of the city skyline and the stars they nearly seemed to touch. She would spend hours on her Grandparent's balcony, using her telescope to search for constellations and planets that were visible throughout the year during different seasons. Even when school started, she continued to amass a large adoration for the stars, wanting so badly to become an astrologer when she grew up. Luckily for her, academics came easily to her, and with constant study and perseverance, Veloria came out in the top five of her class come graduation, immediately applying to college to study Astrology. Through schooling, she met new friends and acquaintances through online research forums and boards, catching the eye of Nova, the head of Blackburn Ridge's famed Grento Astrology Research Center. From there, the two became quite close, their shared love of Astronomy and the world beyond solidifying a strong bond that ultimately roped Veloria into the fold, the girl being hired after college graduation to pursue the thing she loves most. Currently, Veloria still lives at the Research Center, spending her days keeping the building clean and her nights adoring the stars.
