While Phallus appears to be quite monotonous and the polar opposite of enthusiastic, they are rather curious and can be quite intelligable in the right subjects. They keep to themselves on account of their lack of social knowledge but will watch others from afar.
- They hoard meat, fruits, and vegetables to let it rot and will only eat it once it's rotten.
- Genuinely loves chickens.
- Their corpse-smelling odor comes from the dark slime covering their cap. If washed off, the smell will go with it.
- Their veil ("hair") can close around their body but only does so when they feel distressed.
Initially, they lived a duller life, simply hoarding animal carcasses or stealing crops to later consume them once rotten; They functioned solely as a decomposer. Coming from a time before The Deep Sleep Project, Phallus treads Evergreen even more carefully than before. They are very wary of humans, often times keeping their distance with little effort, on account of their rancid odor. Though they enjoy keeping to themselves, they also portray a vague curiosity in human lifestyle, resulting in them watching humans from a safe distance.
