About
Cahira grew up in Azmarin, not too far from the border of Firefly Valley. Her father had not been around during her childhood, leaving her mother to pick up the pieces and take on as many jobs as she could to feed the both of them. From a young age, Cahira had learned how hard life could be, and wanted nothing more than to help her mother in any way that she could. Through lemonade stands and selling toys she never played with anymore, she made a bit of money that she would sneak into her mother's wallet without her knowing, hoping the extra cash would help in whatever way it could. It wasn't long until her mother met a kind man who she had decided to pursue a relationship with; however years into it he had become increasingly monstrous, both verbally and physically. There was nothing her mother could do- he threatened her into staying, and became controlling over every aspect of both girls' lives. Truths left untold for years happened in that house; many secrets held from each other until after the fog had lifted. After it was all said and done, both girls came out broken and bruised, but still smiled, as they knew they had each other. They had soon moved to Ferncombe to get as far as they could from the man who had hurt them, where her mother had found another and married. After the marriage her mother decided to move away from Ferncombe, but still calls her daughter regularly to see how she is doing.
Cahira now owns the house she and her mother moved into after coming to the valley and does her best to keep it nice and clean. The first few years living alone in Ferncombe was tough on her, her problems with trusting others a constant thorn in her side that hindered any development of a social life. Others in the valley did their best to try and talk with her, and after several invitations to local holidays and events, Cahira went to the Firefly Festival in Aurelia, where her life completely changed. She met wonderful people and made lasting relationships with people she never thought she would; and hopes that in time she will finally allow others in and let others help her on her road to healing. Cahira still has trouble with loving herself, finding more comfort in finding happiness through making others happy. No one ever said healing from trauma was easy- and Cahira knows that all too well. She has taken up much more healthy ways of coping since becoming less reclusive, writing and listening to music being a few of them. Now she just tries to take each day as it comes, knowing she has people around her to help her along the way.

Cahira is not one for formal parties, so you will not catch her at any where you need to dress up
She loves baggy shirts and tank tops, but tend to find more comfort in wearing hoodies, which sucks for when the summer rolls around.
She has a passion for animal behavior.
She adores ankle socks and mismatches them all the time- she never cared what anyone thought about it, since no one ever sees them.

Best Friend
Ashira met Cahira on one of her many errand runs, way before even moving to the valley. They both came from the same town, and she had actually offered to go into town for Cahira during a study hall break. Cahira finds herself quite unworthy of kindness, and had promised to make it up to Ashira, which turned into one of the deepest bonds that the two have ever had. They are very close, and Ashira is very protective over her sweet friend.
Barrett
Cahira and Barrett met at the Firefly Festival the same year she had moved to the valley. She was reclusive, insecure and very hard on herself- something Barrett had worked with her on after they met, their time at the festival being one that they two will never forget. They had clicked almost instantaneously, having gone through similar experiences and being proud of the other for still pushing forward. They understand each other on a level unbeknownst to many- he never pushes her harder than what he thinks she can handle, and Cahira respects him all the more for it.
Friend
Shiva and Cahira enjoy spending their time relaxing and watching the sunset. They have always found it easy to talk about whatever they can think of- both of them being very laid-back and patient help immensely. They always seem to pick up what the other is trying to put down, which make their dynamic one that many wish to have with their friends. They never talk about more than what is needed, and find solace in knowing they have each other.
