Fiona is just a poor little kid who was so overwhelmed by her life and family that she ran away and ended up toppling down into a cliffside forest where she would learn to love and stay for the rest of her tiny life.
Her father was a known murderer, and when she made friends with a little bunny he simply killed it and cooked it into the dinner they ate that night.   She constantly locks herself into her room at night to hide from her sister and father to the point she can't get any sleep until she cries herself into unconsciousness..,

Her sister was a relentless bully that convinced nearly 78% of her school to shove her around and bully her without any bad feelings about it whatsoever that. She grew tired of this, all of it. The bullies, her sister, her hunger, her father... She wanted to get away- so during the night when everyone was asleep, she jumped out the window and began running blindly through the rainy night. But then she tripped! Something caught her foot and she had started to tumble down an incredibly steep cliffside! It was horrifying... and when she reached the bottom she was cut, bruised, nauseous, and very dizzy... Then she saw colors.  Blue, green, and yellow..? They moved around her and she then felt the warmth.. and dry... and heard purring..? Her head was throbbing and she had already been sobbing all night...

It was so comforting that she quietly passed out at that very moment... 

She wakes up and finds herself in a small area near a pond with lots of glowing plants, trees, and artificial fences stuck into the ground. Then she saw the same colors again. Blue, green, and yellow. It was a face. One with horns, stripes, and large teeth. Huh- figured that's scary enough? Well her eyes were really blurry and her head still felt flooded so she just kind of sighed shakily and fell back over onto her side.  

Long story short she had met a friendly forest beast bred from a bear and a cat that took a liking to her and brought her to his home. This creature is named Kalin.
