Kabuto

"INFERNAL BOUNTY HUNTER, SLAYER OF GODS!" he cried, while introducing himself in class.

The young man known as Kisshoan, Kabuto was orphaned at an early age due to the brutal murder of his single mother and had since been raised by the Fukugen ("Restoration") Orphanage in the city Kogeta-Chikyū ("Scorched Earth"). He swore his revenge on every supernatural creature, believing them to be the culprit(s) behind her death, but he has yet to confirm this and remains somewhat skeptical. He has tirelessly been hunting for clues to find closure but was never taken seriously due to his age. On his sixteenth birthday he had saved up enough money to move out of the orphanage he grew up in and make it on his own with a part time job working at a café. While at first he believed all of the monsters that overrun the world to be evil, he was pleasantly surprised to find not all of them were so bad... or so he thought?

Kabuto was both blessed and cursed when he had an accident occur while he was still new to bounty hunting the supernatural which he took on shortly after leaving the orphanage. In the devastation of his world it is normal for people to hunt supernatural creatures, usually for defense or resource gathering, as living in this harsh cyberpunk dystopian society is literally just a game of survival. After the many natural disasters and human warfare that have taken place it is nearly impossible to sustain life on this struggling planet which now is plagued with creatures from mythology wrecking havoc everywhere. Kabuto has only known this lifestyle since birth and while he's used to it, surviving the day still never got easier. On the day he became a corpse he was trying to save a woman and her child from the clutches of a powerful demon. Moved by Kabuto's self-sacrifice (but really he was just bored...), he was rescued by a particular angel who introduced a peculiar parasite into his body. Things have not been the same since...

❀ While it may seem like a great deal of power the parasite within him bestows, it doesn't come without consequences. His body has taken a toll from being given rejuvenation after death, and without the parasite Kabuto would be in the state he was in before it was introduced to his body: crippled and near death, too weak to even hold a twig, much less Hoshoku and incapable of communicating with supernatural beings (or probably even people since he was mangled quite horrifically). He is not only able to copy the abilities of demons, angels and other monsters, but he can also communicate with them and befriend them which often results in their willingness to lend him aide during these troubling times. However, in exchange his body must endure several changes as the parasite transforms him into less than human and more towards whatever creature he equips the abilities of. It is not a painless ordeal either. With each new skill comes the anguish of his body being literally torn apart to accommodate a new body feature (i.e. Angelic feathered wings which blossom sakura flowers, shedding both feathers and petals alike or a demonic tail of rose thorns and briers with blossoms of roses mixed in - They each always have a flower theme). Not only that but some of his human features have drastically changed as well. He was born female but has always identified as male, and now he has partially what he wants. His female genitalia has become like a flower with a pistil and petals, but during the time of his period he no longer suffers but instead is able to form stamens which have become his male sex organs. While this has often times resulted in growing pains of dealing with pheromones and the constant attraction of butterflies, Kabuto has learned to deal with these new changes to his body.

❀He is able to communicate with Hoshoku telepathically or aloud which allows them to work together easier, but it doesn't mean that they get along and Kabuto is still learning how to truly harness the demon lord's true strength.

❀ Kabuto tends to be pretty bad with money. To the point he sometimes gets currencies mixed up and tries to use Halos (a divine currency) in place of human currencies which are often not accepted... He still isn't used to handling his finances since he just recently moved out (even though it's been about a year now), and having a generous heart and naivete that anyone will gladly take advantage of he tends to give his spending to a lot of beggars on the street which results in his new boyfriend scolding him. Fortunately for him, he was taken in under his new boyfriend's roof which helps to lighten some of the burden on him... The two now live together and they both have fun getting under each other's skin.

❀ Kabuto's boyfriend, Tekkou, suffers from mysophobia and because he knows that he enjoys teasing him by putting rotten food in his refrigerator, leaving unwanted dead rodents and pests around the house, and much more. While the bounty hunter doesn't mean any harm, Tekkou probably deserves it anyway since he's kind of an asshole...

❀ His eye colour is naturally silver/grey, but during activation of the parasite (i.e. Use of an ability, during transformations/alteration of his physical body such as but not limited to growing wings, and during his period), or shifts in his mood like getting passionately angry his eyes turn green.

❀ He likes spicy foods the most. His favourite foods include but are not limited to various types of curry and buffalo wings and jalapeño poppers.
