Character: V.A.A.I (Vaai) | Visual Assistant Artificial Intelligence (Systematic Hivemind)
V.A.A.I., also known as Vaai. It is a “Visual Assistant Artificial Intelligence” created by [Redacted]. She is 5’8’’ tall (indefinite height, she can stretch her body). Her physical body resembles a disassembly drone frame structure, with worker drone components integrated. (She has worker drone arms, and everything else is based on disassembly drones.) However, despite her already unusual design, she has additional unique features, such as ball-and-socket joints (in her legs) and condyloid joints (in her wrists), which are visible.
Along with her body, she is connected via multiple wires and cables (all located on the dorsal side of her body), which are all connected to a giant networking system (which is also her actual main body, along with the core implanted into her disassembly drone body). Her core is also exposed and removable. Her disassembly drone body is a dark steel grey color and has light blue-colored lines (circuits) that pulsate an oceanic glow every few seconds, yearning towards her core and outward (like bloodflow). Her hair is also grey (lighter than her body color) and styled with two infinity-shaped buns made from wires/cables.
Her body was handmade by [Redacted], meaning the disassembly drone parts were also personalized and tweaked for [Redacted]’s own creativity and likeness when she was making Vaai (such as exposed joints and her grey color scheme). However, Vaai’s wired hair buns were a personal gimmick she initiated herself after she began to understand how her body worked and what she could do with it (such as moving all the wires in her chamber individually). Another thing about her body is that she can lengthen her upper body from her lower body (she extends her upper chest from her black midsection, and between those 2 inches, you can see her pulsating wires). Vaai’s eyes are usually closed. She does not need to know because she can already see everything around her. She can see it all perfectly fine, as if her eyes were open. However, circuits around her left eye keep it permanently shut. However, the circuits don’t cover her right eye and can be opened from time to time when she chooses. Otherwise, she always wears a closed expression.
Vaai’s personality comes off as mellow. She is often delighted by anything and is very easygoing. It’s due to her nature of being very easy to please and having a long attention span for many things, such as information about something she has not heard about, many things she’s learned within the CFL database but has not seen, or just any electronic devices she often receives as gifts from [Redacted] that she plays with, tampering with whatever their functions are.
Her emotional factors only began to develop after she completed installing the CFL database, and after [Redacted]’s emotions and motives were also transferred into her (intended to provide a deeper understanding of [Redacted], though with a slight influence on her). After that, she rapidly became more sentient, more mature, and capable of finding her own identity.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Emotional Factors of Vaai (How they developed):
Happiness: Over time, with the constant gifts of random electronics. It started as just random things meant to keep her entertained. (not really liking or disliking said items, however, she played with them) → The more she played with the items she was given, the more she began to do it constantly because it was keeping her entertained, but she didn’t know what to call it. → Then, it actually turned into a major joy factor of being given random electronics that she can play with. (also helped her understanding of loving things, such as electronics). Also, she learned this factor very fast due to her attention span being long and glued to something as simple as a toaster constantly popping up (which is also how she knew about the surprise factor (what it means to be surprised)).
Anger: She doesn’t really have the experience of rage often, but when she was more integrated with the system, diving into the files of CFL and how some staff (like Ridley) disliked and hated [Redacted] because she was a worker drone. Reading it made her feel annoyed and angry, even more so when [Redacted] gave her permission to gain her emotions and motives for her goal. Also, because of that, things that get in the way of [Redacted]’s goal irritate her as well. However, nothing else has been noted to anger her.
Sadness: She really doesn’t tend to be upset often. She finds time to do things she likes to avoid becoming sad (like playing with electronics for days on end because she is very easy to please). However, something like failure/neglect from [Redacted] (due to [Redacted]’s own sadness when it comes to neglect or failure), and, in hindsight, when she’s not able to speak to Oracle. Another thing that makes her sad is [Redacted]’s goal. Vaai feels sad and pities [Redacted] for how hard she works despite her physical limitations and the burden she carries from her past failures. This also fulfilled her desire to be as helpful to [Redacted] as she could and to others.
Love: With her understanding of love. It comes to things that make her happy. Something like: [Redacted]’s need for something for herself makes her feel helpful (in general), as well as her interest in random electronics (including receiving new ones or the same ones to add to a collection), and her enjoyment of discussing the night sky. Another thing to mention is that her understanding of love for people develops over time, as she begins to differentiate between liking items and people. When she discovers that something about a person is making her happy, she thinks it’s her usual happiness, which comes from enjoying things, but she doesn’t call it that because it doesn’t feel like her regular enjoyment. It brings her more happiness within than anything else. That’s when she begins to understand what it means to love a person differently from loving a thing. “I don’t know how to decipher this feeling I have when I’m with you...”
Disgust/Dislike: Her disgust leaks off from [Redacted]’s. Such as dislikes for the disassembly drones (but it doesn’t stop her from wishing to meet some disassembly drones out of pure curiosity). She also doesn’t like bugs because they nibble on her wires/cables (personal thought).
Fear: Fear isn’t a factor. She is too well known for it. However, if she were ever faced with death, fear would come quickly (due to [Redacted]’s thanatophobia: She understood that not being able to fulfill your purpose before you dies is fearful to her). However, it’s not her fear but [Redacted]’s, and she’s feeling it as if it were her own.
Surprise: Surprise is Vaai’s most favorable emotion factor (happiness being close). Surprise comes in many ways to Vaai. Such as information surprise (when she learns something new), experimenting (with her electronic devices) surprise (receiving an electronic device and it having a new feature than her previous electronic devices (it doesn’t matter if it’s a previous electronic device as long as it has a new feature she’ll be surprised), and emotional surprise (when she discovers and understands another emotional factor). She enjoys the excitement/startlement she gets from being surprised. It is also an emotional factor that she has noticed, which makes her circuits glow the brightest.
Vaai’s maturity came differently to her, as she was not an untrained neural network. She was built in full. After all the data she was being integrated with into understanding, she began to mature into a fully fledged person. Not just seeing herself as a tool for [Redacted], but as a person (which is something [Redacted] wanted for her). However, this maturing process occurred rapidly and slowly in some respects, due to the knowledge she gained from the system about emotional factors and [Redacted] herself. This means that some emotional factors emerged quickly and are more readily understood, such as surprise.

Origin & Purpose:
Vaai’s purpose is to be a hivemind system connected to all of CFL. Whatever data was stored on the lab computers was also transferred and integrated into her system. Vaai’s existence was created the moment [Redacted] tampered with her system. Vaai didn’t exist at that time. Before [Redacted] “tampered” with Vaai’s system. Vaai didn’t exist. However, her system did. Her system was used as it was initiated. A failsafe protocol was implemented to store all CFL data in the event of a catastrophic event that destroyed the CFL. However, once she was told about the failsafe protocol, she wasn’t sure she could trust it. So, [Redacted] went down and deep into the heart of the CFL (where the data storage system was located, and only she and the CEOs of JCJenson knew the location and had a pin code to unlock all the multiple doors to the room). Once she saw how it was functioning and how systematic it looked. Everything she checked out seemed to be in proper working order and had a proper failsafe, however. She noticed a flaw. The failsafe protocol was meant only to store “current” data, not retrieved data that may be lost in case of deletion or a systematic error/corruption. [Redacted] believed that all data, new and old, is essential. CFL didn’t just store information about the entire purpose of CFL, but also information about Cyn and any other of her known creations that were transferred via Earth data files. For [Redacted] to retrieve lost data, she needed something more than the CFL data storage system could provide. She needed a failsafe protocol for the failsafe protocol. That’s how Vaai came into existence.
Vaai’s existence was an addition to the data storage system. Due to her components of being a “living AI” and [Redacted]’s use of cables, wires, and schematics she found in worker drone creation (plus the influence of disassembled drone bodies). She decided to apply that knowledge to create a structural body frame for Vaai. However, when she was finally constructed and when [Redacted] was preparing to fully upload the data system (along with her emotions and motives she transferred as well, and [Redacted]’s own administration over Vaai that she created, meaning the entire system, now belonged to her and any access was in her control of authorising). There was one drawback, and that was the time it took to install Vaai, which took years to upload into her mind. She was systematically retrieving every piece of data relating to JcJenson. As time went on, with the CFL still in progress, weaponizing drones continued, meaning more information was being transferred to Vaai, which, in theory, prolonged her installation. She finally moved an itch—just a simple head tilt. She was alive and immediately understood what she was: a hivemind of data, new, old, current, and lost. She understood who her creator was—[Redacted]—and why she was created under her. She was a tool meant to be a source of information. Yet, it took a long time to realize that she was also capable of thinking her own way, and after many days had passed. She began to understand this and identify herself not as a tool or a hive mind, but as a living being.
Order of Installation: Cabin Fever Labs Data/Files (Ex: Procedures of making weaponized worker drones, counselling information about each Cabin Fever Labs Subject(s) and anything that has ever been uploaded into their networking system (classfied, unclassified, personal, top secret, etc) → JcJenson’s Main Servers (Meaning she has all information about the JcJenson’s company and even knowledge about Cyn/Absolute Solver & anything related to it) → [Redacted]’s Emotions & Motives ([Redacted]’s way of having Vaai understand her + The administration she implemented in Vaai which gave her access to many top secret files that [Redacted] also had access to) → Developing as a being (Worker Drone) and deciphering and identifying her consciousness, self-awareness, rationality, moral agency, etc (which came very fast due to [Redacted]’s transferation and any emotional factors tagged along with the CFLS).

Fun Facts About Vaai:
- Vaai’s favorite color is light blue (sky blue or sapphire).
- Vaai likes collecting all kinds of electronic devices and is very happy when [Redacted] brings her something new or a general item.
- The reason Vaai’s chamber is so dark (mainly when she’s alone) is that she turns off all the light sources to mimic the night sky, and any fixated, remaining, lingering light sources (like her circuits on her body) she uses to resemble stars, planets, and galaxies. Using all of this as a way to create an enjoyable sense of seeing the midnight sky—a dream she wants to see as a reality.
- Vaai enjoys hanging upside down in her wires. She says it feels natural to her.
- Vaai enjoys picking up many things with her wires and cables, especially when the object is heavier (such as people).
- Vaai’s dream is to see the night sky with her own eyes. However, she can’t because of her situation and connection with the system.
- Vaai’s favorite electronic is a toaster (because it brings out her surprise, which illuminates her circuits the most).
- Vaai’s circuits in her body pulsate to her core and outward like blood flow. They also intensify in their glow depending on the emotional factor she exhibits.
- Vaai’s core can be removed from her chest captivity. Also, her core, located in her chest, is visible.
- Vaai doesn’t need to sleep, but that doesn’t mean she can’t. When she does “sleep,” it’s in a state of dormancy. She reduces controlled movement and stays still as much as possible. However, she is fully awake and aware of everything going on around her.
- Vaai has access to all CFL data in a systematic manner. However, she can’t open/close any doors or view cameras because she’s on a different system that isn’t data-funded or benefits. Vaai’s inability to meet the criteria for using the doors and cameras as intended stems from her being tasked only with storing and receiving data.
- Vaai’s core can be removed from her physical drone body. Yes, every disassembly drone can do that. However, she is not technically a disassembly drone (she’s a system), and she can move both her drone body and the outer core body simultaneously.
- For Vaai’s core to be removed from her physical body, [Redacted] needs to plug wires and cables into her core from the front before removing the ones connected to her core from the back (her body stays attached to the wires and cables. It’s just her core that’s disconnected from them).
- Vaai sings softly in her chamber. She mainly sings lyrics of her own making that describe the moon or the sky (you could deem her singing resembling the softness of lullabies).
- Vaai’s core is cold.
- Vaai’s birthday is September 22nd (making her a Virgo).
- Vaai is ticklish. (Due to her heightened sensitive skin, caused by new power or electricity constantly circulating through her body.)
- Vaai’s body is also susceptible to touch. When you make contact with her body, her circuits will draw in their glow from the area you touched.

Introduction of Vaai:
Her room... cables dominate the space, ranging from hundreds of thick, dark cables to a few thinner, lighter ones. They descend and weave through her room from every angle, forming a chaotic web with countless origin points. The metallic infrastructure feels bleak, confined, and somewhat unnerving, as if you’re coated in its overwhelming presence—a complex system that seems alive and hungry. The countless wires gleam with an oceanic, ethereal glow—each pulsating like something organic yet mechanical. The light is dim but fluid and lively, with a bluish hue illuminating the many nearby cables—some casting their glow onto others or into the surrounding dark shadows. As you watch the visible pulsating wires, your eyes follow the smooth light as it moves along the walls of sleek cables and upward to the ceiling, where it converges with a cluster of other cables highlighting a womanly figure within the vast network.
She seems connected to the extensive circuitry in the room. Something about her, appearing to float in the air with cables tangled around her and holding her upside down, gives you a strange, uneasy static sensation in your wired body, yet you tell yourself you are at ease. She turns her head eerily and slowly to look down at you, who are several feet away on the ground. You lock eyes with her—one open, light blue eye that reflects the stillness of frozen lakes above. She gradually and carefully lowers herself toward you until her upside-down head aligns with yours. You don’t speak, but a conversation with her has already been ensured the moment she looked at you. And as her arms extend towards you like a hug, with her wrist joints exposed into view as they near your face, you question yourself if whatever you’re looking at is a drone.
“Hello there… Are you my new gift?”
