Thorough - Strong - Unintelligent - Impatient

Astaroth--nicknamed 'Spicy'-- is, as most Demons are, a naughty jerk. But underneath all the bluster is... Still a jerk, but a jerk with a heart. Er, maybe just a heart for his little boyfriend, Sweet. But you can't dismiss how passionate he is over any given thing!

He is quite transparent in all things. He has practically no reservations, and will snap at anyone or anything if they aggravate him or seem out of place.
Worse yet is that more often than not, Astaroth does not have 'the big picture' figured out and makes sweeping assumptions that suit his own needs. Oftentimes he is due to be corrected, but rarely do his inferiors step up to the plate and do so...

Though he is learning more about the world and himself in the process, thanks to his little angel, Spicy still is quite dull and needs a lot of explaining to get anything other than his usual work done in an acceptable manner. He's more prone to passion and emotional reactions than coming back around for a good dose of logic.

Story

Being a Greater Demon, Astaroth was born into a strict role to keep the Demonic hierarchy in place. Like most Demons, he took to his role as expected, finding purpose in his work of whipping, brandishing, and harassing Lesser Demons. He thought little of what else he could do, and was content to go about the rest of his never-ending existence as a cog in a greater 'machine'.

Though other Demons are loathe to tell the tale, there was an infiltration of mortals and seraphim within the Hellscape that led to Astaroth seeing more than he ever imagined. Angels, and Humans, fighting to free someone like him? But why? Even now, Spicy doesn't understand it all, but it weighs on him.

And now... Astaroth's biggest point of his life is being Sweet's boyfriend! His way of living is extremely complicated (at least, for someone like him) to work within Sweet's angelic parameters. He is hopelessly in love, and this emotion is far more satisfying than anything he'd ever felt when torturing the Lesser Demons into their place...!

• Astaroth is more commonly known as 'Spicy' these days, due to his boyfriend never calling him his real name...
• He can wear any simplistic style of clothing, but no matter what, his body spikes stick out of his clothes.
• Only has a soft-spot for Sweet, and can often verge toward flustered-like bashfulness when dealing with the angel.
• Despite being in a passionate romance with Sweet, they are in a mutually open relationship. Though, this idea was at Sweet's behest... Spicy is a bit shy when it comes to matters of the heart, and leaves those details and dalliances up to Sweet.
