Kiri Phy
Kiri was born the rich side of Cambodia to a single, deaf, and mentally strong, woman called Emily Phy. Having been expecting him after her and her (now ex) girlfriend at the time have decided to move in together to a nice place for a family, Kiri was sadly left with only Emily after his other mother has suddenly disappeared without a trace. Although heartbroken, Emily has decided to take care of Kiri herself and raise him as best she could. As years passed by, Kiri has managed to learn Khmer and English, alongside ASL to easily communcaite with his mother and grandmother whom was also deaf. His grandpa was responsible for teaching him Khmer, while Auntie and Uncle helped with English when him and his mom moved to UK at the age of 6 after she found a new partner online.
Although scary, Kiri has managed to adapt relatively quickly, creating some friends in the private school his mother signed him up for. There, however, he has met one person that has stuck out like a thumb due to his beauty; Jun Liu. A smart, stern, yet kind individual that Kiri has grown a liking to almost on the spot (though that could be said about anyone he met), however as the years progress; he realised how much his heart grew fonder each time him and Jun would cross paths or hangout. To the point that, when Jun confessed his feelings to the sunshine boy, Kiri didn't hesitate to reciprocate his feelings and thus accept them. He thought he could live out his life with Jun in the future, especially after events that caused for him to believe Jun is the one, however- he was proven wrong sometime after turning 18.
Plus Trivia!
His favourite colour is Peach orange.
Has a not-so-secret soft spot for greens, specifically, jade.
Although he won't admit it, he owns a Silver the hedgehog plushie that his (ex)step-mom bought him back in 2006.
In general just really likes the character of Silver, and relates to him on personal level.
Despite not being deaf himself, he knows and uses sign language on daily when communicating with his mother.
He looks tough, but really is a cute and soft man that thinks babies are adorable and cries during romantic movie marathons (not a hopeless romantic, just a soft boy).
Owns an amber bracelet to match Jun's jade bracelet. He bought them both for their second anniversary.
Altough he looks normal, Kiri has Solar Aura, an ability that allows oneself to surround themselves in solar aura, granting them almost invincible-like power that may be used for defnese or attack. He very rarely uses it.
Drawback of his ability is that he often has to stay in either warm areas or in direct sunlight to survive.
No joke, he can literally die without the sun or heat.
Despises closed off spaces with dear fucking passion. Even places like elevators make him sick to his stomach and cause for the poor guy to slowly break down into a panic attack.
Is wealthy as shit due to his mother's income, however he often chooses to not spend his money on useless shit.
After being freed from Alphonso's claws and reunited with Jun and his family, Kiri will decide to finish his college education that he had to miss due to being trapped for 8 years.

Kiri is a tall, average built individual with broad shoulders and slight belly. He has arm hairs that he never gets rid of, wanting for them to cover the multiple scars that came from infliction of others in his life. He has long, jet black hair, that he always keeps in a loose and messy low-ponytail, occasionally letting it loose as his hair is thick and slightly heavy. One thing to keep in mind is that one side of his mouth (right side) is missing few muscles, making his smile crooked as only his left side is able to lift up to fully smile.
Sunshine, Peaches, Jade and ambers; those sweet promises of tomorrow and heat of a blanket, everything that keep him warm. Oh- but you can't forget the best of it all, Jun Liu, his life, his love~
Solar Aura
Solar Aura allows the user to release and surround themselves in/with solar energy/substances for defensive and/or offensive purposes, possibly becoming almost untouchable and granting them various abilities/attacks. The aura may also give the user enhanced physical capabilities such as speed, strength, and durability.
Add. Light Armour
Light Armour is an additional ability that allows it's user to create a sun barier around their body, making them an almost untouchable object of light and heat.
Kiri is a ball of sunshine. Literally. Although he isn't unable to talk, Kiri is a mute individual who prefers to let his actions speak louder than any words, only really using them when he believes situation calls for it, which causes for people to believe he's a quiet and wise individual- when in reality he's the biggest softie ever who finds babies and small things adorable! He is also pretty wise though.
However, he often may come across as detached. His emotions don't control him as much and he holds a strong stance on letting things slowly pass through him than feel all his feels at once. Doesn't mean he's faking being positive, simply means some people can think of him as a little aloof because of him being slightly detached from being emotional.
Jun Liu Fiance!!
Love of his life. Kiri has actually met Jun when he first came to UK and was signed into a local public High school- giving the young boy a cultural shock and thus causing for him to become friends with anyone that came into his sight. This was when he met Jun. Kiri was smittened by his beauty that his 12 year old accidentally burnt one of his greeting cards he made - since at the time, Kiri used them instead of actual speech-.
He didn't think anything would become out of them until Jun's 15th- when his pendant was stolen by a group of bullies that wished to spite him- causing for Kiri to snap and take it back even if it meant potentially setting the school on fire. From there onwards- Kiri kept Jun close by, so much so that he failed to realise his ever so growing feelings for the boy. It took him some time to realise so, but after Jun's confession, Kiri knew where his heart belonged.
Sadly no rose comes wih thorns- because during his year of college, Jun warrented an unwanted admierer that took his ambitions and admiration to the extreme- causing for Kiri to attempt to step in and get the bastatrd to screw off. This- is the mistake he blames himself for to this day. He did more harm than good to his beloved, and for almost seven years he (barely) lived locked away in a dungeon- no sunlight to sit out on or his sunlight to illuminate his life. Jun was gone- until recently. They managed to see each other thanks to the asshole's sister, Otillia, and now- they have touched after six agnosing years. Firts thing Kiri did was propose- and of course- Jun said yes.
Story Update: As mentioned above, Kiri and Jun are engaged! And Kiri has managed to get into a far more comfortable prison that looks similar to a college dormitory, but it doesn't make it any less of a prison. He is slowly recovering from a lot of body trauma but with Jun it's easier~
Jiao "Nico" Liu Childhood Friend!
Small bright-eyed child that Kiri clearly remembers meeting the first time him and Emily visited the Lius, as well as on Jun's 15th birthday party. He remembered how ambitious and loud, yet sweet and adorable, she was. Despite her loud personality however, she was very obviously fond of her parents, her half-brother, and her friend Rei. To this day Kiri can't help but think if they perhaps could become a thing like him and Jun did.
Last he remembers her, she was a bright but gentle girl- crying easily at anything and clinging to her friend tightly- but he hopes she grew out of that habit by now.
Reihana Czajka Childhood friend!!
Met the young girl during Jun's 15th birthday party, she came off as such a sweetheart yet so quiet in comparison to her friend Jiao. Small thing seemed stoked to be there with both Jun, his family, and small Jiao herself, but most importantly she was a small little daisy that had a chance to bloom over the years.
Last he saw her- she was a strong lady that still clung close to Nico- he wonders how she is doing now... and if she's still working with plants like the little green-thumbed strong lady she is.
Casey Shim ALSO Childhood friend!
He and Casey go back a while, the two met around the same time as him and Jun did, back in High-School when Kiri was still a small little thing. Back then, Casey was a lot more shyer and shut-in, strak contrast to who he is now, which made it a lot easier for an extroverted child like the Sun man go up and befriend the redhead. Despite his limited English, the pair hit it off pretty well!
Kiri eventually went his own sperate way, so did of course Casey, but he promised that just before they'd start college, the two would meet again as a way to wish each other luck. Sadly, this never came to be, as Kiri failed to meet up with the redhead even before the end of summer.
Story Update:
Escher Durante ...Friends?
Although Strained, their relationship is not one of a bad blood. Kiri met Escher in an unfortunate circumstances, where his mental health was slowly declining due to realising he is not going to be let out of his imprisoment early. To say Kiri held hostility for the Sandman would be an understatement; in fact, he'd bark at you for even thinking him and Escher are close. However, over the years, the sun man noticed Escher becoming ever so slightly warm around him, especially when Otillia came around; that might've been the first time Kiri realised Escher is just as trapped as he himself is, despite there being no cage around him.
Story Update: The two had a pleasant interaction during Christmas, where Kiri more than realised Escher has a crush on Otillia. Although he might need time, he does believe Escher to be a good person.
Ottilia Dugal Friends.
He can't remember the first time he has come face to face with Lia, some of those memories sadly morphing into one lump that he can barely tell apart from any other dream or nightmare he had. However, she did come as a small speck of light that marked a way for Kiri's life to shine again, as she was the one who let Jun see the imprisoned Sun man after too long of a time. For that he is grateful to her, forever he'd say.
Story Update: The two had a pleasant interaction during Christmas, where her kindness genuinely made it impossible for Kiri to notice why someone like Escher would crush on Lia. He is hoping for a happy ending for her, hoping to see her smile more often and away from her brother. Genuinely!!
