and this is why you never absolutely befriend that talking bat in your room, folks

Anyway, this is mostly about my vampires goofing around.
It's also about a recently turned vampire who didn't intend to become one at all, and the friends they meet along the way.
That's really the best summary I can think of.

[Takes mainly place in Norway, 2019]

Latest sketchbook!

--- The categories ---
Main
The linear story! Mostly the longer multi-page ones. They're not all complete yet.

Bonus bits
Extra stuff that is also canon! Still sorted in a linear order, sort of. Backstories may go in here, as well as random one-off comics that aren't parts of the linear stories in the main section.

Silly non-canon nonsense
Probably self-explanatory; it's mostly memes and crossovers, as well as scenarios that aren't really canon. Highly self-indulgent.

Some things to note:

    • This is absolutely a work in progress, as well as a hobby project. Having them all in one place is merely for the sake of convenience, for myself and others.
    • I do these for fun and for myself, anyone else enjoying them is a bonus! :D
    • I also drew these rather out of order, whenever I could think of ideas. As a result, the pacing may be strange sometimes.
    • Now that I've actually got most of them arranged in a clear order, it becomes more obvious to me which parts need work, fixing, or should be drawn out in the first place. So yeah, I'm working on it, like filling in the obvious gaps, so just be patient with me if it jumps and skips too much at certain points :'3
    • Honestly, some of these might as well be drafts, just to get my ideas down.
    • They're all rather spontaneous, really:
      • I draw from scratch with a ballpoint pen
      • I don't usually thumbnail these
      • I usually don't script them (but sometimes i do)
      • I honestly just go with the flow??
    • Again: it's a very low-stakes hobby project.
      • it took me like three years to think of a title, and huh, it has really been staring me in the face the whole time?? okay
    • Due to being made out of order, Toyhouse is really the best place to host these. Actual webcomic sites are too... linear.
    • I plan on drawing chapter covers at some point! It will definitely make it easier to figure out where a chapter starts and ends. Maybe it might help with the pacing too. I don't know.
    • I am well aware that I tend to cram a lot of stuff into single pages, and that if this was anything like most other comics, a single page could easily be split into like, three pages, if there was any layout planning whatsoever. But there isn't! I'm sorry if that's not what you're used to.
    • Honestly, you may think of it like a storyboard I got a little carried away with.
    • If I EVER decide I want them printed, I would ideally redraw them all one more time, with colors, and with pages that have actual planned layouts this time.
      • Pages drawn on a bigger scale. Pages that actually look nice from a distance, without text bubbles that take up half the page. You know.
      • Either all this, or I'll take the stuff I already have and put it into a zine. Or several, since there's definitely enough here to fill a book or two. So, very casual zines for a niche audience.
    • I don't really want these in any irl stores. I'm far more comfortable with being a small, obscure creator.
    • For now, you're basically getting these pages raw.
Content warnings:
  • There will be blood. Not in excessive amounts usually, but they are vampires, so of course there will be at least some blood involved.
  • Mild violence?
  • Mild swearing.
  • No idea what else I should warn about. This is honestly pretty lighthearted. Most of the time...
  • Okay wait, I got something more - this is not a negative at all, but my comic is VERY QUEER. There are transgender main characters, and I am not shying away from that fact. There are themes of closetedness, found family, nonconformity... and if you have a problem with all that, first of all - what are you doing here? And secondly, maybe you should either keep an open mind, or simply leave. Nobody is forcing you to read my self indulgent vampire comic on the internet. It's okay.
  • I am an asexual genderqueer author and artist. Do not expect any romantic mormon stuff - I write this for myself, not my family.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
