Backstory
Kenjo is the heir to his clan, he is expected to do great things. He is proficient in his spiritual powers, and is a no nonsense to the end kind of worker. He's widely known for his diligence and loyalty to his duties and his clan. For this reason, at a young age he was already showing promise, and was set to marry a girl from a near by wealthy clan. This would put him in the place of being responsible for his clan's big move of joining with this other clan.
Things seemed to be going good, and he has been a devout and pure person...until he got sought out and hired by a clan further away. The Yuyake clan hired him to protect their son, the untameable trouble maker heir to their clan; Jiren. Jiren had made every guard quit before Kenjo, so here he is, the last stand, and he is determined not to lose. However as the days go on, and Jiren keeps making points going against Kenjo's way of life, his spot in his clan, and if it's all worth it...Kenjo begins to waver just slightly internally. The ceaseless flirting thrown at Kenjo is also causing cracks to form in his standings...how long will he hold when these feelings are creeping up on him...

Jiren . Subject of Protection / Mission
Jiren is the heir to the Yuyake clan that he is hired to guard. He's an infamous troublemaker, and is the same age as Kenjo but acts much more immature. His feelings on Jiren are very complicated, as the lawless Heir seems to challenge every single one of Kenjo's personal rules and disciplines. The constant flirting and challenging is proving to be an issue, as he is slowly getting Kenjo to give in to some of these off limits urges. What is it that makes Jiren so magnetic and charismatic, if not absolutely annoying and infuriating?
Kirika Kogane . Betrothed
Kenjo doesn't know a whole lot about Kirika. He was born for the purpose of being wed to the Kogane clan, and through Kirika is how their parents decided they would do that. He hasn't met her much for very long, as she is very sickly and bed ridden most days. Kenjo has no hesitations outwardly about marrying her for his clan's plans, as that was his purpose for being born. However internally he has cold feet and doesn't want to marry someone he does not even know, and who may even be too ill to produce an heir...
Takara Kogane . Brother in law to be
Takara is a huge threat, pain, inconvenience, and all of those kinds of things to Kenjo. He is the brother of his future wife, and is very fond of her and protective. Kenjo has his work cut out for him to make a good image for himself, especially when Jiren is around to work him up so easily. He is trying very hard to look good to Takara.
Kichi is Takara's servant, who seems to act more like Takaras arms and legs. He would normally have no issue with him, however Kenjo is growing quite tired of Kichi intentionally messing with him and trying to fluster him and work him up by being grossly ronchy towards Takara and Jiren so publicly.
Jiren's younger brother, who admittedly is way more fit for the role of heir than Jiren. Even in Kenjo's opinion. He's an angry sort of person, but his discipline shows much more promise, and his drive and want for leadership are admirable. However Seiren seems to be neutral to negative towards Kenjo, which he pays no attention to.
Seiren's snooping little servant. Kenjo is cautious of him, as he tends to show up occasionally to clean up or pass through. One of these days, Kenjo fears, he will walk in on something and spill the secret to all of the other servants and then his secret with Jiren is out.
