Joyful Skywing mailman from before Darkstalker's time. He was raised with busy and often absent parents who didn't have a great relationship, so he spent most of his childhood exploring outside all day. He was eventually approached by the head of the local post house sometime in his early teens, and ended up spending a lot of time there instead, basically getting mostly raised by the postmaster instead of his actual parents.
He struggles to settle down in one place. He has always been between places. Between parents, between homes, between locations, going from dragon to dragon while travelling. Stability and routine has never been a thing in his life. He has always been active and on the move.
But that's when he meets Augury, the same Nightwing he keeps delivering scrolls to in the Night Kingdom over and over again. She always seems shy and quick to accept the mail and close the door, but they eventually begin chatting every delivery, and start growing closer. Augury is very quiet, and does things at her own pace when she's allowed to. She likes to read and talk for hours, stay inside and drink warm tea on rainy days, and listen to all the nonsense Swift has to tell her. She's very different from the life Swift has lived. And then they kissed
