Story: There are two different kinds of magic in Adellia: Constructive and Destructive.  Destructive magicians tend to lose their marbles and cause a big mess often so they are quite oppressed and are not allowed near civilization because they're dangerous.  Carol's sister Fyra falls in love with a destructive named Sono.  Carol is uneasy but sees how happy her sister is and lets it happen.  They start a family and Carol loves her niece and nephew.  Sono ends up killing Fyra in a fit of insanity, Carol fights him off, but before she can go after him to protect Crusoe and Syrin, she is arrested for supposedly murdering Fyra.  She doesn't mention Fyra's lover or children when questioned and pleads guilty because they would be in even more danger if they were discovered.  She was trapped in prison for a while but eventually escapes.  She went to the cave Fyra's family lived in, but finds nothing but graves.  Assuming the only family she had left is dead, she attacks the nearby village (which happens to be the one Starry lived in) out of rage.  Starry fought her off with her to protect her village but Carol overpowers her.  Right as Carol was about to kill Starry, she calls for Crusoe.  Carol realizes she's made a mistake and he's still alive and runs away before the soldiers catch her.  Starry was then arrested for misuse of magic and Crusoe attacked the castle to break her out of prison.  After the attack Crusoe was accused of killing a castle guard named a Acorn .  Carol returned to the cave because she knew when after Crusoe broke Starry out of prison they would both be fugitives and come to there to hide.  Once they arrive at the cave she explained everything and was reunited with her nephew at last.  After this they decided they had enough of this crappy government and started a revolution that ended with Carol killing Axle .  Carol became queen after and eventually died of old age.
