Rouk grew up in the outskirts of Sanctum, a dark and mystical city thriving with a culture centered on the arts, overgrown with unnatural vines and flowers, overrun with the passionate elves that tame them. He's fascinated by elves who can seemingly mesmerize entire crowds by standing on a platform, and being true to his theatrical nature, takes it on himself to mimic what they do in hopes to mirror their fame. With some effort, he quickly finds his passion in singing and acting, and despite being a man-eating monster, he quickly becomes a beloved figure among the elves who adore his novelty. He vowed to never harm nor eat any elves, but they don't seem to care either way.
"Corveau" is the name of a popular fictional character at the time who was often depicted onstage. Bearing an extraordinary resemblance to this villain (despite being a harpy and not an elven sorcerer), he gladly accepted this name that people lovingly referred to him as, even off the stage.
Trivia
- Singing! It's what he's best at, forever what brings the most joy out of his heart, his favorite way to express a rainbow of emotions..
- Along with singing, he of course is an excellent actor! He adores the concept of pretending to be someone you're not, living in more than one world..
- Learning new things, about anything-- he has excellent memory!
- THE SNOW. Sometimes you've never known you needed to see a giggling 8 foot tall monster rolling around in the snow until you've seen it.
- Keeping true to his nature, he tends to collect things that catch his eye and stash them in his home. Slowly yet surely learning that stealing is bad.
- Making mistakes. He understands he may not do things perfectly all the time, but he has a reputation to uphold.
- Anyone who really poses a threat to his rightful place, which is the most talented and beautiful and handsome bird in this city!!!
- Absolutely can not sip a drop of alcohol without feeling horribly sick, but still enjoys
