Profile

Appearance

Baru has messy hair, and it's even worse when its not tied back in a top knot. He has a mullet and a bit of a pompadour. He wears all white, which he often gets dirty. His eyebrows are thick and messy. His eyes are big and a deep brown. He's always got some pink to his cheeks. He often wears prayer beads. He likes to go around shirtless while training. He's a bit sturdy guy, and a bit chubby. He's got some muscle on him, and he stands pretty tall. Suffice to say, he has quite a presence to him visually alone.

Personality

Easily Distracted, Rowdy, Tough, Pouty, Overly Friendly, Manly, Bro, Foodie, Sturdy

Baru is the type who can take a hit, but he will cry about it, even though he's a bro. He's like an eager puppy and is overly friendly with too many people (he kinda jumps on them like an eager dog). He lacks charm and smarts, but he's loyal and um, well he can eat a lot. Once you get passed his tough rowdy side, you can see how much of a baby he truly is.

Story

History

Believe it or not, but Baru was raised as a monk. He trained with the Konkonotsu Brotherhood all his life since he was a little kid after they took him in. He doesn't remember being outside of the monkshood before then. He loves all the monks like family even though they can be old and boring at times. As he grew older, bigger, and nosier, he was gently booted out because he was eating too much of their rations and he's SO loud, so they decided to send him on "missionary quests," but its mainly just an excuse to have a  break from him, which is okay with him partially because he's oblivious to the true reason and because he really loves food and loves to travel to different places to taste new foods!  

Current Story

He is currently travelling looking for small towns to take lodging in. He looks for mom & pop restaurant with amazing food while he is there, but he is supposed to be there for missionary purposes. He's not very charming, so he's not very good at convincing anybody to follow his brotherhood however. He misses his 9 monk mentors, they were all like fathers to him individually, but every time he comes back for a visit, they always have another job lined up for him.

Trivia

• Although he is veyr dog-like, he is afraid of dogs because they don't seem to like him
• Loves gambling when travelling because the monks never let him back at home
• Hasn't tried a food he hasn't liked
• He's a fighter, and he does not object to fighting, but he leans slightly more towards pacifism, perhaps because he's a bit of a coward.
