Chinatsu was born to two loving parents in Kyoto, Japan. Two years later, her little sister Saki was born. Her mother was a fashion designer, and her father a high-ranking police officer - thanks to her mother, Chinatsu quickly grew an interest in fashion, and had started drafting up designs from a young age. She adored the attention and guidance she would get from her mother, and most importantly, the praise she would receive once she had done well.

Desiring to be just like her sister, Saki had begun to try and follow in Chinatsu's footsteps. However, this only made Chinatsu angry. To see her mother's attention divided between herself and her sister, to see Saki be praised, to see that Saki was just better than her made her furious beyond belief. Not to mention, Saki was well-liked by many others, even having friends that were Chinatsu's age. What did her sister have that she didn't?

It didn't take long for her jealousy to come to a head. At age 14, during a family trip to the beach, Chinatsu led Saki out into the ocean and drowned her. The only witness to her crime refused to speak against her out of fear for her own safety.

Chinatsu had no regrets. From that point onwards, everyone showered her in attention, and she never had to compete with Saki for anything ever again. Once she had tasted this joy, she greedily refused to ever give it up again. Never would any life matter more than her own, not even slightly. She couldn't stop herself, she couldn't help but greedy - anyone that got in her way, anyone that was more well-liked than her, anyone who couldn't love her enough, she would crush beneath her heel. Whether it was through ruining their credibility beyond repair or by reducing them to nothing more than corpses in a ditch, she was scarily efficient in her takedowns.

Her parents caught on, of course. While they couldn't tie everything back to her, it was fairly obvious that there was an ongoing pattern in her victims that tied back to her. But, valuing the reputations of their high-standing family, her father sought to help cover up Chinatsu's crimes rather than risk the scandal. Thus, fed by Kayo, and backed by her parents, Chinatsu continued to devour all those in her path. She chewed up and spat out every partner she had ever dated - if they were lucky enough to get out alive, it would not be with their mental states intact.

When she was eventually invited to Hope's Peak as the Ultimate Fashion Designer, it officially solidified her standing at the top of the fashion world. Yet still, she wasn't satiated - for she still wasn't adored by everyone in the world just yet.

Kouki is Chinatsu's newest boyfriend - or rather, her newest victim. While she loves his subservient nature, she doesn't care for him much as a person, and instead only cares about the love and attention he can feed her. She particularly loves to exploit his low self esteem and assert her superiority over him, as he'll tend to fold with a little bit of pressure. His life and emotional state are in her palm of her hand, and to her glee, she's had him trained so well that he can't even bring himself to say no to her anymore. He's a resource, nothing more - something like him can hardly be considered equal to her.
