8Track is built similar to an animatronic toy, like a Furby or FurReal friend. He has a velcro strip in his fur on his back that can be opened up to get into his mechanics. He has stuffing to fill out the fur to make it look person-shaped instead of a weird sagging skin over a metal skeleton. Very soft and huggable because of this, though!

He runs on a rechargable battery, the port being in the back of his neck, also hidden by fur. He can also eat batteries to get more power to his own batteries. His diet mostly consists of batteries, casette tapes, and glowsticks. Also a fan of fruity liquor but he can't get drunk, he just likes the flavor. He could eat normal food if he wanted to, but he usually doesn't.

The two panels on his front are for playing music! The top one has a screen that can display track titles, little phrases, or emoticons. The bottom panel is for controls.
