CIRCLEEYE

CIRCLEEYE was once a professional pest-killer, a soldier tasked with killing dangerous wildlife- anything from from man-eating invasive plants to ship-eating space centipedes. Life in their dimension is far more common than in ours, and a great deal of it is far more frightening than anything seen on Earth. They were one of the more glorious cogs in the visitant ecosystem-destroying machine, part of their species' constant expansion into the hyper-dangerous jungle of their galaxy. And they were very, very good at what they did.

Now they work for a government. Specifically, the government of a small interstellar nation in the Milky Way. They don't get to kill animals as much as they used to, and they do try very hard not to kill human beings. They were the head of the nation's equivalent to the FBI until the president-equivalent died, and CE was the first in line to take over. They've chosen a body that's large and intimidating because they can't bear to be seen as anything else, and it makes their life harder than it needs to be. The job rarely calls for ripping things apart with big crab claws, after all.

They long to feel the heat of battle once again. But everything in this dimension is just too weak to excite them.
