Profile
CIRCLEEYE once belonged to the prestigious ranks of the Intrastellar Sterilization Force.* While they specialized in visual-range** encounters with high-risk organisms,*** they've had a claw in the extinctions of everything from inoffensive sessile flora to the most ravenous of sapiophagic organisms. Their work was highly regarded, both for low antagonist survivorship and equally low proxy turnover rates.
* employed under the Department of Flora and Fauna of the Visitant Administration.
** on a planetary surface, defined as approximately 40 miles on a standard visual-range sterilization proxy. Range is broader in a non-terrestrial environment.
*** flora and fauna that pose a high threat of proxy harm and loss.
CIRCLEEYE now works for the Haven Federation, a small, predominantly human interstellar nation based in the binary-starred Haven system. The nation is younger than they are, and holds values that are alien to them, but they've adapted in the years spent there. Human patriotism is dazzling to their collectivist visitant brain, and they've embraced the Federation with a nationalist fervour impressive to even the most devoted of humans.
Unfortunately, the Haven Federation cannot cater to their alien physical and emotional needs, and they are miserable as a result. There is a reason why the Visitant consider defecting from the Administration to be an inherently unhealthy course of action, regardless of how dubious that claim looks to human beings.
