Often said by his family to be the most "colourful" one, Skull has a habit of talking in an overly theatrical fashion. He's raised from a warrior family hence he's eager to duel and fight for justice. He can sometimes be a bit vulgar and aggressive, but he won't resort to violence unless he is provoked to his limit. He's straightforward when it comes to expressing his feelings and is deeply empathetic when it comes to the plight of others. That said, it's often hard to see that soft side of him when Skull is an overly energetic woolyne.

Skull comes from a long line of well-respected warriors in Solaris. His name, Kaurus, means heaven's light which follows the family tradition of naming their children after heavenly beings or things. But even with a heavenly name, Skull chooses to go by his nickname. He got his name from his chest marking and the scar underneath from his very first training, which resembled a pirate's flag. He cares deeply for his mother, as she's the only one he's got and vice versa since he's an only child. They do have a big family though they only get together when there are huge events.

Skull wields a huge sword twice his size (think Cloud's sword from Final Fantasy) and names it Bas. Bas' official title is Slayer of Evil and Bringer of Truth; Bas the Holder of Justice but really, it's real meaning is just Big Ass Sword. He has scars all over his arms and legs from training day and night with a giant sword, but the most obvious ones are the ones under his marking (from his very first training) and the one above his lip (from biting a pineapple without peeling it). The scars means a lot to him, since it means he's growing stronger and better each day when he gets less and less scars.

Skull is currently travelling with Eiha. He looks up to Eiha and his ability to lead and get things done. Skull swears to him that he and his sword will protect his friend to the end. Unknown to Skull, Eiha is a chaotic bastard who uses thievery to get things done his way. But alas, they're both good friends and Eiha seems to be quite fond of Skull as well. Skull might be a bit blind to his friend's flirtations though.
