Amelie rose from an abandoned merry-go-round and the memories of happy children that rode it. When she first opened her eyes, she was in an abandoned amusement park with creaky attractions. She leaves the park and travels to the neighboring town, looking for the only thing she remembers: happy children and families. Although she wishes to bring joy to families, she is cautious of humans, especially when they were also the ones that have abandoned her once, though she does not know why. Additionally, she must take care of her fragile body and elegant appearance so as to not risk humans' disapproval or dislike of her. So she spends her days, timidly but closely watching families from a safe distance, unknowingly longing for a family of her own.
