- He’s a bit insecure in front of others and avoids many forms of skinship or showing a lot of skin. Aster is comfortable with his body but unsure of others’ perception of it.

About
Aster is a man that holds himself to a high standard when it comes appearance or how he’s perceived. He’s a hard worker that did everything to push himself to the limit and hit goal posts. This once, almost obsessive, drive ended up souring some of his relationships before his death. Because of this, he’s pulled back and instead is happy to take orders versus give them.
While he doesn’t care for training or fighting Nether despite his duty, he’s still able to keep up. He’s not very muscled or slim like Ilista, the opposite. Still, training as a singer, dancer, and able to play the guitar, he’s got more than enough stamina where he lacks strength.
When he’s free he’s more than happy to listen to music he’s collected from all of the various worlds and their cities that he’s visited. Not to mention the collectibles he enjoys securing as well— his only weakness being little figurines like those that his mother would buy him in his youth.
Most of all, Aster’s insecurity before others has him wearing plenty of clothes. This is due to being in the industry and the high standards that were put before him. Because of this, he tends to done clothes that cover as much skin as possible.
Aster doesn’t enjoy touching others, on top of it. He can always be found wearing a pair of fingerless or elbow-length gloves depending on his attire. The dislike for messes typically sees him in full gloves when fighting as to not get blood on himself or having to touch Nether. This quirk does lessen around certain people that he’s gotten close enough to and is okay with them touching him.

- Not muscular, the power is in his arms. A little squishy on the sides.
- His hair is always styled perfectly except in bed.
- The stars in his hair look like they’re a part of it, but they’re just tiny accessories.
- Loves different styles of clothes. Probably has a more versatile closet than Ilista.

Even with his more relaxed attitude, Aster is still quick to anger when it comes to anyone looking at Orion wrong. He’s easily calmed down should Orion tell him to. Otherwise, he’s logical enough to step back afterward and apologize should he be in the wrong.
He’s the type to readily lay down his life should it help the person he cares about. Aster doesn’t dare wear his heart on his sleeve despite how much he may care for someone. The only ones that get to see a softer more vulnerable side are those that dare get close enough.
Otherwise, he wears the mask of a performer on stage and plays his part as perfectly as he can. Praise from those around him does little for his ego. It’s only when someone he deeply respects does so that it matters to him.
Despite these strong tendencies he has, Aster is a very easy going person that loves to have fun and goof off when allowed. The easiest way for him to relax would be through music as it takes him away from his worries.
Towards someone he has romantic feelings for, he can be rather jealous. He can also be a handful as he becomes clingy in the sense of always wanting to be near this muse for his life and making sure they want for nothing. This person is the only one that he lets physically close all of the time.

Boxing
Aster’s fighting style is that of a typical boxer mixed with someone free-styling on how he moves. Very rarely will he use his legs and instead relies on his fists and arms. Ilista has trained him to dodge, weave, and hit.
Pointed Strike
A new technique he’s attempting to hone is the ability to calm, focus, and strike as hard as he can in one spot. It requires a windup that leaves him vulnerable and therefore isn’t safe to use alone or against agile enemies.
Rage
In select situations, Aster will lose control whether it be intentional or not. When this happens his strength typically goes up as he’s in a blind rage. While he can tell the difference between friend and foe, his attacks become unpredictable and relentless. This increase in his power output leaves him very vulnerable after it wears down or he’s stunned.
Summary
First Star
One would think Aster had everything in his life as a founding member to the most well-known band on his world. They were a sensation until a tragedy killed all but one. Dying in the accident, Aster found himself alive again, but this time, as a Star.
Thrust into a new life where he’s nobody was a comfort he had forgotten about. Despite not enjoying violence or fighting, he tried his best thanks to the chance to live again. Aster enjoys the small things in life, not to mention his singing, and this allows him to continue to do so.
Doing the bare minimum still earns him the gaze of Orion, a Keeper that he ends up working with on a mission. Their level of compatibility and Aster’s ability to follow his orders without has Orion wanting to work with him more.
Before he realized it, his admiration and respect became something more akin to a crush. This love is what fueled him to continue working hard under Orion’s watch and eagerly taking on any tasks that the man needed done— regardless of whether it got his hands dirty or not.
Star Light
When Aster is made a Keeper, he takes his role very seriously even if no one is aware of the fact. It’s not long after that he’s given a task to find a way to infiltrate the Dark Surge’s ranks. Orion asks for information and Aster finds the way to get it in the form of a friendship he’s made with a Dark Star, Adrian.
Working his normal duty, meeting with Adrian, and then watching over some mortal that’s piqued Orion’s interest leaves him little time to himself. While he’s able to keep his temper in check throughout all of this, it’s not until Orion brings Zye into the fold that he starts to slip.
The worry that he could lose Orion festers in him. This is only made worse when Hax severely wounds Orion right before his eyes. It takes all he has to remain the faithful follower of his crush and not lash out on his own to seek answers and vengeance.
Star Bright
Knowing when an apology is owed, Aster is quick to try and mend the bridge between him and Zye. Once everything is out in the open and he’s not sworn to secrecy in doing whatever he can for Orion, he relaxes quite a bit. There’s still the anxiety of making sure Orion makes it through the next encounter with Soren.
Regardless, he’s the one Xerxes and Callua come to when they need a breath for a reason. While the stakes are added up, he does everything he can to help those around him. But also, slink off when he can to relax and unwind.
Once everything is over is when he finally heaves a sigh of relief. The time is his as he plans to take advantage of the opportunity he has. He wants to spend more time with Orion and maybe, if he’s lucky, see if things can go further.

Love Interest
He’s not sure why he’s grown so fond of Orion over the years— perhaps do to all the work they do together. However, he’s the only person he’ll put in a 120% for. Despite the questionable tactics Orion uses to fight back, he has nothing but faith and the desire to protect this Celestial with all of his being.
Adrian
Friend
While on his missions for Orion, there’s only one person that understands his unique position— working in secret to get ahead. They bond and agree to work together— having each others back no matter what. He’s also the first that knows about Aster’s unrequited love for Orion.
Ilista
Friend
While most would see them as not being friends with how they banter, Aster is very fond of Ilista. He respects and admires her in many ways. Just as many that frustrate and irritate him. They may butt heads, however, they’re a force to be reckoned with when fighting together.
