- despite looking like a puppet, she has the capability to emote as a normal person would.
- her hair never grows. if you were to cut it, it would be back to normal by the next morning.

- although she is well-articulated when speaking logically, she often has trouble voicing her own emotions- verbally, at least.
her teachers would call ophelia 'a pleasure to have in class;' as in, she rarely talks, answers questions in a level, timid voice, and works as hard as one could ask. some would call her stand-offish; she doesn't much socialise, and oftentimes when she does her distaste for her fellow students is apparent. preferring her own (and occasionally darcie's) company to that of anyone else, ophelia remains a minor blip on the radar, a well-hidden secret to her own peers.
ophelia has no concrete beginning; she simply wakes one day, a doll possessed by some kind of spirit. she has no memory of who she once was, only a resounding anger that draws her toward a school three hours away where the halls reek of hate. she knows immediately what must be done.
but ophelia is no fool. she takes years to plan, to ghost through the education system under false documents.
ophelia will admit that, at the best of times, darcie is an absolute nuisance. but she regards her horribly obvious, juvenile attempts at terrorising people with a fond sort of exasperation. despite her unseemly manner of speaking and chaotic nature, she remains friends with the other girl, and she will admit that having a companion to her mission makes things a tad easier.
she really does like her more than she could ever admit.
