Ambrosia Maraeth

History

Born October 30th year 818,721.

Ambrosia Maraeth [Amb-rose-ee-ah Marr-eye-eth]: current ruler of the Demon Territory.

‘As the youngest of two royal girls, Ambrosia didn’t expect to be chosen to rule over the UnderWorld. Her sister Kasdeya, seemed perfect for the job. She knew everything about being a respectable ruler, she studied the [several] royal handbooks, watched over their parents while they were performing their duties and was very outgoing and was a natural born leader. But she wasn’t doing this for the sake of the subjects, her parents, or for the fact that she knew she had to take over after her parents were gone. She did this because she was hungry for power, she wanted to have control over everyone, and make them do her bidding for her entertainment. She was a despicable and awful being who cared more about her wellbeing than others. She was desperate to get the throne, so she disposed of her parents once she turned 18, and attempted to rule over the UnderWorld. 

But to be a true ruler you must be chosen by the Effigy of Aracnia Maraeth, the first Queen, which disables your aging process until it decides the old ruler needs to be replaced {The statue is bound to the soul of the First Queen- so she can choose who is right to rule, to avoid tragedies and any chance of the bloodline being broken}. Only then can you be accepted as the next ruler. She was never chosen, but chose to ignore this. After several years of ruling, she noticed her younger sister had not aged. She should have been an adult by now. Her subjects also noticed this, and the two sisters battled over the throne with their beasts. She easily won and Kasdeya was stripped from the throne, replacing her with Ambrosia: the true Queen of the UnderWorld.’

Though, the story never mentioned when or how her life ended, when she had children, and the name of who’s ruling over now. 

The truth is, she hasn’t aged in over 750 years. She doesn’t know if it’s because she’s been chosen as the ‘perfect ruler’ or if the Old Queen simply made a mistake. But her body’s too young to have children, so she rules over the U.W., not revealing herself, waiting until she can grow older to pass on her power to the next heir.

She currently rules under the name of ‘Lord Maraeth of the UnderWorld’. No name, no face to show to the public. Nothing.
