Oleander

 Oleander was adopted by Tania the circus fortune teller who was a former prostitute and who was best friends with Topaz's mother Camille. Tania found Oleander while the circus was traveling in a foreign country, hence the fact that Oleander has an atypical physique in the circus. She had been abandoned in the snow and cold when she was only one year old. Tania took her back and raised her as best she could, even if everyone didn't necessarily see Tania as a good mother because of her past as a prostitute. But Tania raised Oleander as an exemplary mother, this even softened the character of the fortune teller but on the other hand Oleander, she was a real hothead but everyone appreciated the energetic little one. She grew up with Topaz so she really considers him as her little brother and did everything to protect him like her role as a big sister, when Pouet joined the circus, she thought he was going to protect them but she quickly understood that Pouet was not at all brave and she decided to protect them both. Unfortunately when Camille died, she didn't know how to comfort her friend and blamed herself when she learned that he too had died. The times following Topaz's "death" were hard, she didn't know what to do and felt uncomfortable dancing in front of a perverted audience, but if she danced badly or failed, John Bonson and the gang from the circus on his side rush her of blows and insults, she was only 14 years old and did not know what to do.
