•Aria•

While Aria is the type of person who likes to stay in the background, she enjoys being around people and is fairly social. She is calm and polite, likes joking around and listening to the stories of travelers and other people who visit her town. If her work gets too much for her or she has some free time, she likes to explore the woods surrounding her village and go hunting with her uncle, as well as to take naps.

She tries her best not to show it, but Aria is very insecure, and measures her self-worth on people's opinions on her. This is why she gives in fairly quickly when she gets into an argument, and feels obligated to help out anyone who was nice to her previously, even if she doesn't feel like it. However, she won't let others take adventage of her, and can get quite angry if she strongly disagrees with something or is talked down upon. She's very protective of her friends as well, and finds it much easier to stand up for them rather than for herself.

Aria is the child of two people who were already married. Her mother didn't plan to get pregnant, but when she did she decided to keep the child in the hopes that her husband would think that it was his. He didn't question Aria's heritage at first and treated her like his daughter, but he quickly noticed that his wife interacted with her a lot differently. She was very harsh towards her daughter, and avoided her as much as she could because she reminded her of her mistake. This lead to Aria feeling neglected all of her childhood, and it only got worse when her step father found out and divorced her mother. Both her and her other daughters kind of blamed Aria for ruining their family, and at some point, it was too much for her. She ran away from home.

Still being a child and not really knowing where she was, Aria wandered around for a while, hoping to find out where the town was her step father's sister lived, who was always nice to her and offered to take her in even before she left. On her way, she met an older girl named Feena and her mentor, who luckily lived in the same city as Aria's aunt, and they took her back with them.

In her new home, Aria's life got a lot better. Her aunt was very nice to her, and she befriended Feena as well as tried to get closer to her younger brother, empathising with his situation. Later, her aunt decided to move away from the city for feeling increasingly uncomfortable there, especially after Aria's mother visited, and moved to a smaller town in the south, located in the middle of the woods.

There, Aria's aunt opened a tavern, something she always wanted to do, and Aria began to work for her. She befriended the local guards as well, who taught her how to use a bow, and she turned out being quite talented at that. She began to help out the townsfolk by hunting for them as well, who were a lot nicer to her than all her neighbours before that, and the sudden appreciation made Aria really happy. However, with time she felt incomplete more and more, and she just couldn't find inner peace with herself. No matter what she did or others said, she kept doubting herself and her purpose, and she felt that someone was missing. She was too scared to change anything though, so she continued living her life as it was.

All of this changed when one day roaming the woods, she discovered a corpse, and when that corpse tried to talk to her, she shot him in the head. This however didn't affect him at all, which gave her almost a heart attack. Luckily, the figure turned out to be friendly, but there was something very wrong with him: His body was dead but his mind was alive, and he was just as shocked and scared about that as she was. Though she kept her distance at first, Aria's fear soon turned to feeling bad for him, and she decided to help him to figure out what was going on. However, she didn't know what she signed up for.

• ● She likes singing or talking to herself when she is alone, but is super embarassed if someone hears her doing either. As long as she's sober that is, Aria is a loud drunk and it doesn't take much alcohol for her to get there.
• ● Her arrows are self-made, there is a falcon nest nearby her town she gets the feathers from, and she knows how to form and harden stone and wood. When she is bored, she likes to carve other things as well, though she isn't very talented at making actual sculptures.
• ● She is kind of a plant nerd and knows quite a lot about herbs and how they can be used, which is why she can treat basic injuries and is able to find and make something edible pretty much everywhere.
