Having lived by the sea his whole life, Aysel loves swimming and the ocean. He has a collection of shells and feathers and other things he's found while there, and his collection is surprisingly large. He is very inquisitive, willing to investigate anything, but easily distracted, meaning he often ends up randomly meandering around as he follows whatever grabs his interest. He likes to do everything on his own and hates having to ask for help.

Once, while gathering seashells, he strayed a bit too far out into the ocean and was confronted by a very grumpy Valencia. She asked him why he was stealing things from the ocean. Aysel was a bit shocked and confused, but he explained that no, he wasn't stealing, he was just getting things for his collection, and maybe would she like to come and look?

Valencia agreed, and the two soon became great friends. Nowadays you can sometimes find them having water balloon fights or building crazy sand sculptures, and (rarely) protecting the ocean from humans or animals with malicious intentions.
