The ocean; It's vast, it's exciting, it's scary, and it's Len's absolute favorite place. Nothing is more comforting than a good long swim, especially when she doesn't need to hold her breath underwater. She grew up exploring the coral reef and playing tag with energetic fish.

One day, however, she noticed a land-dweller taking some seashells, and she wondered what he could be doing. Maybe something not good - maybe he was going to steal them! (Looking back, she admits this may have been a bit of an over-reaction, but she really cares about her home). So the shark-dog hurried to the surface of the water and confronted Aysel.

Valencia had been expecting a fight. Instead she found someone else who loved the ocean as much as she did, and the two slowly became great friends. Now they work to protect the ocean together, although there's also a lot of fun to be had.
