Profile

Uh-oh, sky grandpa!

Psychic vulture people I came up with in 2010. oh heck they're old. I don't really make characters like this anymore.

They are essentially one being split in two bodies. Each has only one leg, but when they fuse together, they gain two legs and also become much larger in size. It doesn't really matter which one you might refer to as Praxis or von Geier, names are meaningless, and intent matters more. Names are just labels for ease.

Mental projection?

It's a fairly unwieldy term for now, but anyway. While PvG cannot read people's thoughts directly, they can read intent, in a way. They can "see" people's aural projections to their environments, such as what they look at, or project their intentions towards. A sort of tracking of memory traces? This is why it's impossible to lie to them, they know what you did.  To be able to track a specific person or being's aura takes a great deal of concentration to avoid being overloaded, which leaves PvG fairly frail and open to attack. This may be why they're split in two, one can track one entity while the other tracks something else.

Blah, this is complicated.

Personality

Praxis and von Geier complement and complete each other's sentences. Even as a singular being who happens to be split in two, they don't have a single mind about everything, there are sometimes conflicts of interest as there are in any singular person. It can be hard to discern whether they're a singular person or two separate people during a first encounter, but needless to say, if you say something to, say, von Geier and intended to keep it a secret from Praxis, it wouldn't work, they share one mind.

They present themselves as excessively formal and polite and rarely ever get upset, mostly because they can predict their target's every action... At least unless they are able to mask their intentions in a way that leaves PvG open and vulnerable and on guard. PvG are manipulative and make use of whatever means at their disposal, usually being intimidating is more than enough.
