- He can't control the fact that his 'status flower' will grow as soon as he's happy in front of people he might be interested in and it embarrasses him greatly as a single man, Underwater Panther are lake and river's creatures but thanks to his mother who's a sea shore nymph he have it easy with the sea he prefers anyway, his irises tend to glow in the dark, he's the good cop, lots of cats gather around his house because he eats a lot of seafood and is too much of a cat person and feeds them whenever they come over, he does lose some scales when they've been rubbing against fabric for too long but they grow back pretty quickly (pulling on one does hurt him though), he purrs (but it embarrasses him), he fights with two spears, makes jewelry with seashells during his free time and gives it to kids passing by, he's very good at dancing (looks at him moving his hips), he doesn't like fire but it can be so romantic in a fireplace,

PAST
- He lived in the village where his mother was born, following traditions and such, as he grew used to the culture differences between his mother's and father's.
- Around 14 he discovered his interest in other boys and was told at first that it wasn't a good thing by adults, but his parents being very open-minded let him be and always supported him when others would rather blame him for his orientation. At this time he started to really help out his father in his work during his free time and got an interest in fishing while developing his abilities.
- Age 17, as traveled with his father to Al Momona to help him sell his fishes, a noble from an important family from Barhum showed up on the docks. He started to look at all the plebeian selling their products then stood in silent in front of his Maipe's father's stall. He stared at the two fishers and his father had to put his son's head down so he wouldn't look at the noble directly in the eyes. He didn't know why he did that at the time...
But then, the noble who was carried by two slaves ordered one of them to wreck the stall. Confused and angry, the teen who was pushed away by the violence of the slave got up and after he could say anything, his father grabbed his hand and covered his mouth. But the glare towards the noble was there, as the latter took offense at the price his father was selling the fishes despite being an poor and miserable fisher. The noble caught the glare of the kid and seemed outraged by this affront. He then order that the boy was brought to him and one of his bodyguard and grabbed the fish scaler on the ground as he approached father and son.
The dad pleaded for mercy and forgiveness as he held his boy against him then before the guard could grab Maipe's arm, his father stood before the guard, taking off his shirt... and took the punishment for his son whom he ordered not to move nor look.
No one could do anything against the noble.
Guards arrived with healers to help the poor man, kneeling in his own blood and ripped skin and scales, his son crying desperatly against him and supporting him so he wouldn't fall.
- After that event, Maipe felt guilty for what happened to his father and grew a boilling hate towards the nobles from Barhum who were many like the one he's encountered before. And why didn't the guard do anything to protect them ? He didn't understand. But he knew he couldn't let this kind of things happen again. He had to make things change.
- So he trained hard to become a guard. Still guilty of what happened that day, he cherishes his parents and shows total respect to his father who nowadays, is retired from his work. And when he was assigned to the post of Lieutenant, he went to visit his parents who were both very proud of him. (age 30)
- Nowadays, he is know for the way he defends the plebeian from thieves and the tyrants, how he fights against poachers and arrest fishers who overfish in the dark. He lives on the sea-shores in a pretty city of Al Momona, very popular for its seafood and colorful products from the sea. He tries desperatly to settle down with a partner, considering his age, but in vain.
