History

First born child of the first prince of Hell and and their wife, and angel. Given affection and love throughout the entirety of their first five years. Upon turning 5, children of high tiered demons go through a rite called “The Naming”. They are put under dangerously high levels of stress and physical danger to see if they can truly survive in hell, if they pass they earn their right to be named.

X didn’t pass, as the end obstacle for them was a vision and an act of betrayal by their parents, and since their parents coveted them, the thought of seriously harming, being seriously harmed or betrayed by their parents was too much. In the end their choice was allow the phantoms to kill them, ending their rite in failure. As the child of the first prince failure meant that X was weak, and so they were all but discarded afterward. 

Before the Running; 

Failure meant that warm and kind home they’d known crumbled completely. Their parents chose to ignore their existence or speak and punish them cruelly for the smallest of reasons. Because of this, once they gained siblings they also picked on and pushed them around mercilessly. Despite the pain they suffered they still had some small amount of confidence to enjoy the little things they could when they weren't being run around by their family. 

At the age of 200 they were engaged to the son of the second prince, and they thought life may begin to look up for them. Sadly, things took a sudden turn for the worse. They were moved in with their Fiance and the abuse continued, although this time grand acts of kindness were mixed in. The second prince wanted X wholly devoted to him and nothing else, and did as he pleased to get the progress he sought, but in the end he made a mistake, and that single mistake is what allowed X the courage to finally flee from Hell and their past. 

Currently; 

X is trying to live life as they want, although their struggles are many the freedom they never had before is terrifying and thrilling at the same time. They hope that their future will be brighter than their past.
