Description
Cy is a 22 year old sweet talker who can finesse their way through almost any social situation, and does so on the regular. They don’t care much for following rules - in fact, it brings them great joy and satisfaction to specifically not break, but circumvent them; to twist and bend them to their will. In this context it might be no surprise that they decided to go to law school, where they’re top of their class. Despite this, they spend a lot of time partying and slacking off with friends, having already managed to become an essential heart of the parties all over campus after two semesters. Other students tend to only know them as a trouble maker; a kid who will enable everyone to do anything they want, always ready to provide enthusiastic legal advice on how to get away with all sorts of things.
What many don’t know is that, in their free time, they work as a freelance fortune teller. A pyromanic fortune teller, that is, who sets their clients’ valuables (gold works best!) on fire to read their future in the flames. Both their genuine fascination with fire and their theatrical nature do them well in this endeavor, since they helpfully obfuscate the fact that, thanks to their twin brother Malik’s chemistry background, the valuables don’t really burn and “get consumed by the flames”. They are simply kept and given to Malik. Because, truly, Cy isn’t in it for the money. They simply do it because they can, because risks are exciting and destruction relieves boredom.
The money is a nice bonus, though.
