Sandman

A diminutive nocturnal creature who goes out at night and feeds on dream moths. Dream moths are large unusual insects that are generally attracted to mammals and appear to feed off rheum, tears and blood. The "sand" he uses is toxic dander that knocks out moths but is generally harmless to humans.

He lives in a small paper mache orb attached to a tree with a faint glow from yellow light fireflies that congregate inside, giving it the appearance of a moon.
