The "captain with the scarlet gloves". No relation to the devil with the rose-coloured gloves. Kind of popular with the ladies, but seems to ignore them. Very calm. Very good at tinkering. Menacingly calm, actually. He's always out on official and suspicious business, both in equal measure. Also a trusted soldier in the Brazen Brigade, proudly displaying their sword on a wall in his cabin.
Blew up crew that attempted to execute a mutiny. Next he might just throw them out into the sky. No visible guilt detected. Very interested in the Royal Society's projects. Scorched by the Fire that Follows, names of dead crewmen and other unsaid or forgotten things cover his right arm. His ultimate quest seems to be to kill a sun. With a little bit of guidance from the Halved, he joined the Courtesy and teamed up with a spider-senate to fulfill this goal. Has mentioned the Martyr-King's Cup in passing sometimes and the crew are worried about where he'll take them next.
Notorious among Londoners, the Windward Company and the Tacketies alike, this captain drives a devil-made Moloch locomotive outfitted with some real instruments of murder. Inside the train is furnished with luxury to make Her Enduring Majesty green with envy, but practical and rather fortified mechanisms hide behind the brass and lacquered bronzewood. The Cera Luna is often spoken about in train-spotting columns.
