Jaime is, at first glance, an arrogant, self-serving bastard. He's prideful, and takes himself all too seriously. If you can stand him long enough (most can't), he does have a heart under all that. He's not a bad guy by any means, he just has a hard time with how he comes across. At his core he's a good, honorable knight with some tarnish to his reputation. His missing foot bothers him more than he'd like to admit, and has had a significant effect on how he carries himself. Nevertheless, he's trying to be a better person.

He's currently in a relationship with Brienne. She's one of the only blooms who sees him for who he is. Jaime takes any insults against her as a personal affront. They have a set of twins named Arthur and Galladon.
