Raio

For almost his whole life, Raio has been by himself. This has made the small Pouflon careful, distrustful, awkward and distant. He prefers to keep to himself and he has trouble with relying on someone else. They also look out for themself in the first place and will abandon someone if they feel like they are dragged in unwanted, or unsafe scenario's because of the other. Despite all this, Raio is still a caring Pouflon and wishes for companianship, even though it scares him. He also wouldn't know how to form any type of bond, which can make him awkward in social situations. Judging by his small form and distant behaviour many would also suspect that Raio would be a coward and run from a fight. If he can avoid conflict he defenitely will, the lonesome Pouflon can't afford taking risks. This has made many Pouflons and vespires living on the streets to believe that Raio can't or won't fight. truth is, if it comes down to it he fearlesly steps up to anyone. As long as he has his pippet by his side, Circuit, who he relies strongly on. Raio can also be fun loving, witty, and he's shown to be very smart.

Raio was born like the majority of Blooms in Chrysanthos City, in the Dawn garden. But from the day he came into the world something was wrong with him. The little bloom had a corruption that started to spread from his right eye. This sadly happened more with blooms that were born when the sky was showing cracks. The doctors managed to stop the spread, but his eye was very obviously affected by the corruption. Raio's parents never came to pick him up, afraid they were going to set themselves up for heartbreak with a sick child. So Raio spend a long time at the orphanege. Despite the adults telling him over and over that he would get adopted, that things would be fine, no one ever picked him for his obvious corruption. Raio stopped believing the adults eventually and left with some stolen money, to the Brouzet desert.

Things turned out to be worse there though. The small Pouflon had no place to call home and no place to turn back to now that he was a thief. There were many others living on the streets, even Vespires, who proved themselves to be on the top of the food chain and often ran smaller Pouflons like Raio off. After years Raio had learned to keep his head low and rely solely on himself.

This isolation had taught him to see and hear things others couldn't. After the sky fully cracked he ended up in the rift. He was rescued by knights, but instead of being horrified by the experience it sparked an obsession in him. With his skills in engineering he made a device that allowed him to hear the rift and the corruption that came frome it. He now tries to uncover all the secrets of these other worlds out there and find a place for himself there.
