I keep talking about pillowings and the fact that they are literally just objects/pets. They aren’t lone sentient creatures and it’s very hard for me to imagine them going off on their own to do their own things. They are EXTREMELY owner dependent since that is literally their entire purpose.

With this all being on my mind lately I’ve been thinking an awful lot on the owners behind a lot of my own personal pillowing collection.

I always have Kenzie and Oinker drawn together and very snuggly. I always imagined the two either shared an owner together or came together by chance with two separate owners. I kept imagining these scenario and smiling over the idea like it was 101 dalmatians disney movie where the pillowings both run off to get into bit of trouble together and bring the owners together and they just hit it off and were together ever since.

Today I finally decided to try drawing what I think the owners might look like. I imagine Riley being Kenzie’s owner, very fit and gym/work out oriented. I bet she’s like a personal trainer and runs marathons and shit. Then you have Marcus the owner of Oinker. Oinker the pillowing is extremely outdoorsy so probably means the owner is too. He doesn’t seem nearly as hard core as Riley though, I bet he’s soft and goofy, a romantic type really. Not sure what his job specifically would be, maybe he’s into research? Outdoorsy research..??? Not sure, but because of this he’s pretty use to a lot of physical activity and it helps him keep up with Riley’s high energy levels.

Just imagining them together and their pillowings all interacting together like a big happy family makes me smile.
