PERSONAL SKILL

Maiya has never had any reason to fight or do strenuous physical activity. Even so, it's noticed she's stronger than she looks, has decent stamina and good endurance that shows in her defense abilities. She has no problems in verbal assaults and altercations, well known for not stepping down if she believes she's in the right.

SOLO SKILL

- Name: Fairy Circle
- Range: larger radius with less people near her, smaller radius with more people near her
- Influence: Maiya (15) and Kazuki went into the loft inside the barn of Kazuki and Sai's home to retrieve the younger children (Charlotte, aged 7. Vayne, aged 9. Mugi, aged 12. Evan, aged 13) when it collapsed. Her intense worry for everybody around her and desperation mixed with fear they were hurt ended up helping her spawn a skill that reflects who she is deep down- somebody deeply compassionate that cares for all.

Maiya has the Skill called "Fairy Circle," granting her the ability to do instant group healing. The radius fluctuates, depending on how many people are near her. The more people that are closer to her, the smaller the radius is. The less people that are close by, the bigger it becomes. She also has no control over who gets healed within her circle, meaning anybody within her range is instantly healed. 

The wounds may be healed, but the pain lingers. She was 15 years old when this ability spawned.

LINK SKILL

Maiya & Cas
- Name: Hypochondria
- Range: limitless, but the closer they are, the more potent it is
- Influence: A naturally spawning Skill, stemming from overprotective people who want only the best wishes and health for those they love.

The ability "Hypochondria" may not fully reflect in name what the Skill can do- they can heal injuries and disease. The closer they are in proximity to the other, the more potent the Skill can be. They also can mend broken and torn items.

In Timeline 1 & 2: they cannot heal terminal illnesses.

In Timeline 3+: they are able to heal terminal illnesses.

Maiya & Drake
- Name: Anchor
- Range: limitless
- Influence: A Skill that spawns as Maiya finally feels she can pursue Drake and vice versa. As they let their feelings finally blossom from years ago, it becomes a natural thing that happens.

Maiya and Drake spawn "Anchor," an ability that lets them teleport to the other's side. The name Anchor reflects the fact that each person acts as an anchor point for the other. Maiya and Drake cannot use Anchor to switch places, one must be the anchor while the other teleports to them. 

In Timeline 3+: this ability trumps all trap-type Skills, such as Petra and Marcel's Death Trap.

About

Maiya is born and raised in Yoria, and truly loves the little town- more than the situation she found herself in with her parents. They pushed for an arranged marriage between herself and Cas; something the two did not want, despite being good friends. Getting ever closer to being of age to get married, the Hagino parents and Wight parents decided to get together and journey as a way to discuss what the marriage would mean for them. In the end, it meant nothing, as the parents all died in an accident, leaving Maiya and Cas free will to break it off and remain good friends.

She goes on to open a tailor shop in her home, and while she's saddened about the situation, she can't say she's entirely heartbroken, given how much her parents would trample on her freedom and heart. 

In Timeline 1 & 2: Maiya and Cas break off their arranged marriage after their parents die in an accident. Maiya goes on to open her tailor shop, and Cas goes off on the adventures he always wanted. He does come back, and the two remain close, good friends- no romantic feelings involved, though.

In Timeline 3+: Maiya and Cas decide to honor their parent's wishes, and go through with the arranged marriage. They bear a single son, Jameson, who is the love of their lives, but the marriage does not last. It's not that they hate each other, simply they really weren't fully compatible in a romantic aspect.

The two divorce, with Maiya keeping Jameson so that Cas does not feel overwhelmed with his own son as well being the guardian to his younger orphaned cousins. 

NOTABLE MOMENTS IN TIMELINE 1 & 2

Maiya is chosen as a sacrifice by Drake, who easily comes in and swoops her off her feet since she did not marry Cas. The sacrifice is completed, her death being by cut wrists. 

NOTABLE MOMENTS IN TIMELINE 3

Maiya is chosen as a sacrifice by Drake, though the situation has completely changed. The parents died, but Maiya and Cas decided to honor their parents wishes and wed one another, producing one child. The two end up amicably divorcing, and take turns watching over their child. Seeing her a single mother, Drake ends up pulling back on his plans to take her, and ends up truly wanting to leave Sanctus Halisa to pursue an honorable relationship with Maiya.

Relationships

Cas Wight  [ friend, (TL3+) ex-husband ]

Cas is an old friend, one she grew up with. The two have always been on good terms, and really do fall somewhere between lovers and friends- without the romance that is. At least, until TL3, where he does marry her. Though it ends in a divorce, the two are still immensely close and she cares deeply for him, and looks out for Cas, especially since he's terrible at caring for himself.

Drake Xarond [ friend turned lover ]

Drake was a boy that once was dancing on the cusp of courting Maiya- though they never made it official, since it was when she was to be wed to Cas. Soon after that, Drake disappeared- assumed dead- when he went on a ill fated mission up a mountain with the Noble Arcane. He comes back, and completely woos her off her feet. The two flirt heavily with one another, not shy of PDA. They scream obnoxious high school couple in love, but at least they're happy.

Charlotte Wight [ family friend ]

Maiya saw Charlotte as something between little sister, daughter and good friend. She knew the Wight sisters needed love and compassion, and poured it all into them when she was with Cas. With Charlotte, Maiya loved to play with her hair and fix up her clothes, even making new ones for her. The girls were always close, and even the very reserved, quiet Charlotte finds herself being social with Maiya.

Bridget Wight [ family friend ]

Bridget is the little sister to Charlotte, and Maiya absolutely loved to dote on the younger girl. Being so young meant that Maiya really did treat her more like a daughter than anything else, holding her hand or picking her up when she needed it most. Much as she did Charlotte, she'd play with Bridget's hair and clothes. Honestly, she taught both girls a lot, and probably influenced them a lot. She adores Bridget, but worries about her coping mechanisms.

Jameson Wight [ (TL3+) son ]

After Timeline 3, Maiya and Cas agree to honor their family's wishes and go through with their arranged marriage. Jameson is a result of that union, though he's their only child. Maiya is in absolute love with him! He's incredibly well mannered and tends to try to stay clean, something both parents drilled into him. Maiya is charmed that the young boy is also shy and hates being alone, especially wanting to hold his mom or dad's hand or clutch their clothes often.
