Nori was born into a family that owned an inn, and never felt the need to learn to fight. As he grew older, his childhood friend, Evan, shown an interest in it. From then on, it's been Evan and his guild, Noble Arcane, that protect the Omura Inn.

Nori & Evan
- Name: Skill Share
- Range: 15 miles minimum away from one another
- Influence: Not being nearby to help the other actually puts themselves into states of panic at times. Nori often worries that Evan won't have the strength or ability to care for himself, while Evan worries that something bad may happen at the Inn and Nori cannot defend himself. Eventually, this Skill came to fruition, out of worry for the other.

Nori and Evan spawn "Skill Share," and true to it's name it grants them the ability to share life skills. This means they do not share Skills, such as Solo and Link Skills, but rather any old abilities anybody can learn. Anything either boy is proficient at, the other will have the ability to do when they're 15 miles apart.

In general, this means that Evan is able to do amazing cooking, able to cook much like Nori does. On the flipside, it means Nori has battle awareness and ability, able to protect himself like Evan would, if he were close. 

Once they are closer than 15 miles, there's absolutely no way to share their skills.

About

Nori was born to a family that owned the Omura Inn and Restaurant, having worked in it all his life. When his parents passed away, it was little surprise the Inn became his little sister Mugi's instead of his. In his dad's words, "his awful personality will kill the Inn." Lovingly, of course. 

He's lived in Yoria all his life, and has no plans on moving away. At first, he worked as a waiter and helping clean around the Inn, but he soon started playing in the kitchen, and found that he much preferred cooking over the hustle and bustle that is the Inn. He spends his days idling in the kitchen, making many dishes throughout the day. Even so, he'll always make sure to make his family their meals as well. It's an act of love, though he'd never admit that.

He also will give meals to his childhood friend's guild, Noble Arcane. He'd never admit that he purposely makes Evan's favorite foods, instead either glaring him off or saying he was already making it anyways.

Relationships

Evan Artorius [ childhood friend, love interest, (TL4+) husband ]

Absolute, total opposites. Nori's feet are firmly planted on the ground, and he often is yanking his friend back down to earth. Though Nori deflects Evan's affections, verbal or physical, he doesn't make it seem like he seriously hates it. Thus, Evan continues to shower him in affection. At times, Nori just lets it happen, other times when he feels embarrassed, he'll fight Evan off. He really just doesn't want to come to terms with his own feelings for Evan. In Timeline 4 and beyond, Nori has come to grips with his own feelings and by the start of Timeline 4's story, the two have already wed.

Tsumugi "Mugi" Omura [ little sister ]

Nori is eternally thankful for that Mugi is social and chatty, because he just can't bring himself to be personable. He isn't very good at showing his gratitude, but the fact that the two refuse to move away from one another shows how close they really are. Nori isn't good with his words, instead choosing actions to show affection. Especially food, which he always makes sure to feed Mugi. To show his support, he's also willing to feed Souji when he comes around- knowing that Mugi has fallen pretty hard for the boy from childhood.

Ruka [ little brother figure ]

At first, Ruka didn't sit right with Nori. He could tell the boy had a past that would lead him down a troubled path. Well, he wasn't necessarily wrong, but he was pleasantly surprised to learn that Ruka never betrayed their trust. In fact, he sees a lot of Mugi in Ruka. Both are coy and playful, chatty and charming. He doesn't like that Ruka seems to do inappropriate propositions with the Restaurant patrons, but it's something he doesn't see often. After all, he's in the kitchen all day. He trusts Ruka, and notices a change in his attitude once Nikko starts coming around. He's not sure he's rooting for the two, but it's making Ruka a much more faithful and loyal person, seeing a decline in propositions.

Emi Asai [ little sister figure ]

This girl gives him a headache and sometimes a panic attack. She's sweet, but maybe a bit klutzy and loud. She's the one likeliest to drop dishes or make a mess, which means he's ready to run out of the kitchen to scold her. Still, she's young! And he's giving her the watchful eye that nobody has before, considering she's an orphan. He doesn't really say it, but he definitely plays the part of mindful big brother to her, wanting to keep her safe.
