Basics
Emi is an incredibly bright and energetic girl, who never seems to run out of steam. Her smiles are practically endless, with a positive attitude to back it up. She can be a bit sly and underhanded though, and loves to play tricks on people. She always means well by it! (Unless you were a customer to piss her off, then she will pour dirt in your tea.) She screams little sister type, and basically is the little sister of the Omura Inn!
Emi is a very petite and thin framed girl, with long wavy brown hair, with two braids pulled near the top of her head. Her bust is rather small, much to her disappointment. Emi is right handed.

Emi has no need to fight, so she's not really built for combat. She's surprisingly fast and durable though, probably from all the times she's fallen on her face carrying plates at the Inn. She's quite charming too, having been around someone like Ruka most her life, she's picked up on a lot of his tricks and style.

About
Emi was five years old when she became an orphan. Her mother having passed away and her father not wanting to care for her on his own, dropping her off at an orphanage. Emi hated the orphanage, it was in poor condition and the caretakers showed little to no care for the children. The other children there were cruel as well, bullying and picking on Emi. When Emi was 8, a new boy ended up a the orphanage, her first meeting with Ruka. He was kind to her, seeing how cruel the other children were, and was quick to stand up for her. She quickly became attached to the boy, and followed him around everywhere from then on. The two became close, and it felt a bit like having a big brother.
Two years later the two decided enough was enough, and ran away from the orphanage. Feeling toughening out on the streets would be far better then another minute in that hell hole. The two didn't have to live on the streets long though, a young Evan Artorius finds them, and decides to take them to his friends at the inn. Mugi and Nori Omura agreed to let Emi and Ruka live at the inn, having them help work around the inn to also pick up life skills. Life since that day has been the best for Emi, having something to call home and family. Getting to go to school, and finally make friends. She really couldn't ask for anymore, this was more then she could ever expect in life!

Takane Yamasaki 
[ friend, love interest ]
Emi adores Takane, she takes any chance she can to be with her friend. Though the older Emi gets, the more she realizes that she wants to be around Takane not just because they're friends, but she feels something more. The thought of having a crush embarrasses her a bit, but being the girl she is, is also thrilled by the idea of love! She tries her best to try and flirt with Takane, trying out lines and such she's seen Ruka do. One day she'll properly confess though!! She loves going around the town with Takane, dragging her to various shops and places to eat.
William Lindberg | Kota Abbott [ best friend ]
William is the perfect friend to a girl like Emi, the two of them balancing each other like a scale. She can get him to open up more, and feel more confidant in himself. While he is something like a pillar for Emi, being a constant and good influence, and always there to listen to her. She loves to encourage him on his feelings for Chika, and is his number one supporter! The two hang out at the inn together often on her days off.
Tsumugi "Mugi" Omura [ sister figure]
Emi knows she owes a lot to Mugi and Nori for taking them in when they had no where else to go. She ends up seeing her as a motherly big sister figure in her life. Mugi has the perfect amount of love but sternness to her, helping shape Emi into what she is today. She also loves how Mugi can put Ruka in his place, she'll usually run to Mugi first when she has something to complain about. She's also slowly learning how to do the famous scary Mugi smile!
Ruka [ brother figure ]
Emi knows she can trust Ruka more than anyone in the world, he's always been there for her ever since she was young. He worked hard to get them the life they live today, and for that Emi will always be grateful. The two of them can be sly little tricksters together, she loves tag teaming with Ruka to prank rude guests at the Inn. Having a typical sibling dynamic, the two of them often like to tattle on each other to Mugi and Nori as well. Most of the time though it's never really over anything serious.
Hironori "Nori" Omura [ brother figure ]
Emi can admit she's not the most graceful girl around, and has dropped her fair share of plates at the Inn. Nori is always the first to run out and scold the girl, he's the reason she's gotten as fast as she is, to escape his nagging! Still though, Emi knows he has a caring personality much like his sister Mugi, he just has a different way of showing it. Emi thinks it's adorable! She greatly looks forward to dinner time if it's Nori who's cooking that night!
