Profile
Sired by a heartless cult leader, Corona Kilsolnostri is celebrated as the blessed Harbinger of Dusk by their extensive cult Family. They were raised alongside their twin brother Halo as a nearly divine "Sunblood," and now the two of them roam the Mojave to share the gospel of the sun-eating monster they worship, and maybe cause a little trouble while they’re at it. Corona is the quiet muscle of their schemes, and what they lack in chattiness they more than make up for in icy looks and truly delicious cooking.
Appearance
Tall, dark, and imposing, Corona’s muscular build radiates a sun-dappled allure from every inch (or, at least, they quietly believe it does.) They aren't graceful in their looks and movements, but they don't need to be. They keep their thick, blond hair long but pulled back in a messy ponytail, allowing their frigid blue eyes, sharp like a bird of prey’s, to keep an eye on any situation. Corona usually look somewhat annoyed or misleadingly lost in thought most of the time, and combine that with the confident intensity of their posture to spit an unspoken dare at anyone to just try and make the first conversational move.
- Has blond eyebrows and dark, prominent eyelashes
- Keeps their nails long and often painted gold
- Usually seen wearing the patched up ski jacket uniform of their cult.
- Usually keeps their hair tied back with a metal hair tie
- Has longer, softer sideburns than Halo

Corona prefers to talk with their actions rather than their words, and said actions tend to be quiet, unfriendly, and forceful. They may not be the most elegant person in the room, or the most well-versed in philosophic conversation, but they’ve never claimed to be, and never will. They know what they like and they know who they are, and they don’t feel the need to flaunt their emotions on their sleeve. Being intimidating, being hard to read, they relish every second of it, and 99% of their own Family doesn’t even know what goes on inside their head. Keeping your feelings locked up tight behind a wall of ice keeps people from getting close, getting nosy, and that’s just what Corona likes.
It’s only around their pets and their brother Halo that they allow softness to guide them, revealing a gentleness and sense of compassion more nuanced than one might expect of them. They are an eldest sibling to their core, and they really do love the few living things they connect with. Corona sometimes wishes they could express themself better, if only to let Halo know how much they want to keep him safe. Separated from him, they grow even more reclusive and sealed off, forcing themself into silence to keep their fear from boiling over.
They were raised to work best with their brother, and though they usually let Halo do most of the talking in their twin escapades, Corona has quite a bit more trained, artificial charm than one might give them credit for. When the moment calls for it, they aren’t afraid to talk (or flirt… or threaten) their way out of trouble. They’re a remarkably persistent person, too, willing to wait hours, days even, until their target breaks down (be it physically, emotionally, or both). They can outlast even the most resilient souls, and their determined, vicious patience comes quite in handy when swaying poor souls to see things from their cult’s point of view.
Corona simply sees a beauty in being brutal. It leaves no room for negotiations.

History
Born the eldest of a set of twin by eight minutes, Corona was already entangled in cult brainwashing by the time they were barely a toddler. Their father, the Parhelia's blessed leader, raised them and their brother Halo to be specimens in a test on codependency; two halves of a single whole, trained to all but fall apart when separated. They grew up spoiled and praised by the rest of their Family, a noble of the Mock Sun strutting along holy grounds, free to pursue whatever they wished. They took well to the vital nature of cult feasts, and Corona entered their adulthood a strong, silent type with a passion for food and what could be done with it.
Their place as head Parhelia "chef" was not a long lived position, though, as the Sungazer coaxed the twins into achieving their divine potential. The two of them descended their mountain home to become cult recruiters, masquerading as couriers as they took to the Mojave Wasteland, trying to lure as many poor souls as possible back into the open arms of their Family. The life of freedom now on Corona's plate overwhelmed them, and they often acted out in fits of aggression and mayhem. But they didn't worry much about that. They could always just move onto the next town if things got too heated, after all :)
After a few years of spreading the Anthelion's word, though, the twins' escapades reached a head. They delivered a package to a town called the Divide, an incident that ended in death and disaster, and Corona and their brother fled back into the desert, never looking back. They wandered for a while in the wake of their destruction, until they eventually started the long trudge home, back to the cold snow and warm meals of the Mock Sun. Corona was content to return to their Family, the consistency comforting. But as they headed back up the glorious Spring Mountains, they had no idea that meanwhile their baby brother had fled to the very Wasteland they'd just walked, and he was altering the very future of it with each passing moment....
