Sunny

A one-shot fellow for a game where everyone was wizards, trying to escape a magical tower. Sunny was deliberately built to be an extremely terrible wizard: I picked almost exclusively spells I thought would be useless for the session- though he was quite proficient at little harmless cantrips- and Intelligence was not his highest stat. Nevertheless he was an absolute BLAST to play, his nature encouraging me to be creative and pour my efforts into characterisation and RP. His most useful item ended up being the bag of biscuits I added to his inventory for colour; they were almost gone by the time we escaped.

Sunny was an odd-job-man (gnome) most of his life, and after raising 5 kids decided to finally make something of his arcane talents and has never been happier. Upbeat but mellow, he faces challenging environments and emotions well, but is poorly skilled in the arcane and tends to be off in his own little world. Sunny grew up in gnomish underground tunnels, but being a super old gnome granddad has travelled to all kinds of places and met all kinds of people around the world. His magic is based on simple celestial symbols: stars, moons, suns etc., and is usually a glowing gold colour.
