Also, his right eye is not a 'normal' one, but a robotic one that allows him to see things in various ways apart from normal vision, such as night vision and heat vision. |

Personality
Spade is known for being a good listener. Because of this, even though he may not always be able to solve somebody's problem, his friends know that they can talk to him about anything that's troubling them, or even to just let off steam. He can also be rather selfless, often preferring to put others' needs before his own.
However, his selflessness likely comes from the fact that he has a lack of self-esteem and often thinks he is worthless. He can also be rather pessimistic at times.
Backstory
Like his friend Allie, Spade used to be human, with no magical powers or anything. However, that all changed one day when he was younger, when he, along with several other people, was kidnapped by a group of people who wanted an army of cyborgs in order to take over the country.
He doesn't remember that, though, due to them erasing any memory of before he was turned into a cyborg. What he does remember, though, is that after some time he, along with all the other cyborgs managed to escape from the place where they were all being held and whoever turned them into cyborgs was caught.
Nowadays, Spade is trying to live a 'normal' life. While that isn't easy due to not having any hands anymore, he has his friends with him who are able to help whenever he needs it.
