- His protective nature led him to want to find a job where he can utilize it. At first he wanted to become a fighter, but he realized he didn't want to leave home, his status as the firstborn was too important to put on the line, and above that if he left to be a fighter he wouldn't be home to protect his sister. He was scared to die. Instead, he trained to become a Peacekeeper, still able to earn money to support his family and, hopefully, future family as well as be able to stay home enough to chase others away from Blooming.

Curling greatly dislikes his father, and believes that he has evil at his core. He fears what his father is capable of and worries if anything happens to him that his father may do something bad to his little sister. However, despite his misgivings, he knows he owes his exorbitant lifestyle to his father and that he ultimately would do nothing to stop anything his father might try to do, so he keeps his mouth shut and does as he is told.

He thoroughly despises his sister, and thinly veils his dislike through the guise of a simple sibling dispute, though his true feelings are far from unknown, try as he might to mask them. He finds Blossoms incredibly, unnecessarily, antagonistic and hopes that she gets packed up and shipped off to a husband in another clowder far away very soon, as he cannot stand to even eat with her around.
Blooming-Garden
Bloom is one of the few siblings Curling-Vines can stand, and he is incredibly protective of her. Many paths and opportunities in his life he has altered or denied in order to keep himself close to her. She means more to him than his own life does to himself, and he could never handle anything bad happening to her.
