am too lazy to type the whole story idea i got atm but tldr; The crown prince of his prosperous homeworld (also Xel, he was named after it), Xel is on the run from bounty hunters hired by an intergalactic crime syndicate that wants to marry him to a crimelord's daughter (and use his planet for money laundering, basically).

He is a focused and determined kind of guy, but doesn't mind enjoying nice things when given an opportunity. He's curious, studious, and diplomatic-- 'princes' on his homeworld are chosen from among gifted children and raised in training for the role. His species is more agile than humans, but susceptiple to cold temperatures. They tend to be less concerned with 'personal space,' and are happy to sit or sleep piled up like kittens around those they're comfortable with.
