Dex Dreamweaver

    Dex is supposed to just be the goddess of dreams and sleep. How ever she has been given extended power and responsibility due to her dedication. With the issue of strife not collecting the souls he should and min being over loaded as she is only a soul warden Dex has taken on the responsibility of keeping the souls safe. What is death but an ever-lasting dream. What is purgatory but an in-between between life and death awake and a sleep. As a god Dex is more capable of caring for the many many souls. This added responsibility has elevated her from a minor god to the levels of vex and strife. Something that greatly bothers Wraith yet he has no say in it as Vex may not be the eldest of the gods but through the years she has become the strongest.

    Dex’s duel responsibility may have been to much for any other god but Dex was not one to skirt her duty. She was a lot stronger then most of the other gods thought. Vex knew this it was one of the reasons she set such a hard responsibility on the lesser god. Anther was Vex knew the power wouldn’t go to her head as power was never something Dex sought after. To Dex she just wished to something other than her father’s daughter. To have an identity that was all her own. With her powerful responsibility Dex did. She became know as the most understanding god. As her first job as the god of dreams made sure she knew how to keep mortals’ content in their dreams. Her second job made her understand their hardships in live. Dex often seems to talk to her self but really it is to a few of the more troubled souls she keeps close to herself. Some souls she is allowed to push off onto Strife to begiven passage. Other she must hand over to vex. It is all about understanding and taking the time to carefully judge the souls she cares for.  Some times she hates finding out the dark secret in one, yet it is worth it when she finds the good in another.

    Is Dex has one things she tries to hide from other then her father it is her beastly side or alpha form. Her core being of a large beast. Her more common imp like form is more a secondary limitation she imposes on herself to look more normal and to more easily interact with mortals as she finds them super interesting. Yet her alpha form is her core self and when ever she needs to works large magic or has a few too many souls in her. Her alpha form breaks through and she is forced to face the fact she is a god. She has responsibilities and not matter how much she strives to keep on top of them they can over realm her. Dex personally hates her alpha form and tries to hide whenever she is forced into it. Dex may try to hide from it but she will not lie about it. Unlike some other gods.
