Ultimate Chess Player
Cunning and calculating, Alfendi makes his intellect well known. He isn't above manipulating others for his own gain, but does care deeply for his fellow participants when it comes down to it. As much as he may taunt them and cause mischief, he chiefly aims to educate them about how to find the loopholes in this killing game, and seek to exploit them. His main goal is to take down the mastermind, no matter what it will cost.
Relations:
- Arata Ito - He respects Arata's kind demeanor, and sees a sort of kinship through the idea of working for the sake of others, rather than only the self.
- Paislee Avalon - He admires her abilities in de-escalating conflict, but wishes she would be a bit less firm in her ways. Otherwise considers her to be decent.
- Kip Summerfield - He finds Kip annoying but ultimately shallow in his beliefs. Holds contempt for him.
- Miho Suzuki - He appreciates her unintrusive nature but wishes she would stand up for herself more, displeased that she often gets talked over in conversation.
- Asuka Mizushima - He finds her to be curious, what with her bursts of emotional irrationality out of seemingly well-composed mannerisms. Believes her to be highly analytical and intelligent, but held back by how easily she lets her emotions take hold of her thoughts.
- Taro Sato - He is fairly close to Taro, in a sort of unlikely friendship, enjoying spending time with the other partially because of their differences in how they approach life. He enjoys seeing Taro's antics because they're usually under control and not exactly putting anyone else in peril.
- Shiori Tachibana - He holds a great deal of respect for her skills, even if her emotional state is rather fragile.
