Dhonu's family comes from a long line of werewolves, his descendants came and settled all the way from Tibet. As a young pup he has heard stories, passed down the generations, about how there was a time where werewolves were hunted savagely and so they escaped to (what became known as) Wolfsbane Valley. Hearing these stories as a child, Dhonu grew up loving his town, his pack, his home, to a degree that he never really wanted to leave. There was a period when he was but a young boy that he was worried his family would have to go, but thankfully the three pack leaders solved the issue with the hunters who came fairly easily. Their no-conflict resolution was astounding to Dhonu who took inspiration from that and vowed to never fight unless the situation was dire, that there was always a civil way of solving things.

As he grew up, Dhonu exercised his body but mostly his mind. He found he really had a passion for books and the written word. Graduating with honors, he probably could have gotten into any college he wanted, but he didn't want to leave his home and his pack, so he got his Library Science Degree in order to help run (and eventually take over) the local library. Since then he's lived a quiet life, writing poetry and novels on the side, just how he likes it. That is... until the promise between the hunters and the werewolves broke and the stress of war loomed above all in Wolfsbane Valley. Oh how he wished their sleepy little town stayed quiet...
