Trident used to be Tartar's left hand squid, taking care of stockholder meetings, and stayed up late, filing paperwork for Tartar. He was willing to do just about anything to make the company grow, including being experimented on. Tartar made Trident his first sanatized experiment. With it, Trident became desensitized to the dark, and called it his new home. Though, he was defiant sometimes towards Tartar, which irritated the AI greatly. To prevent this with future experiments, Tartar amped up the amount of brain ruining chemicals, which in a way made Trident one-of-a-kind.

For a while, Trident worked around this, and just performed his duties as normal. Then the one known as Agent Eight came along, and changed his life forever. Through watching her pass every test Tartar had thrown at her, and see that she was still chipper shook him. The two of them would have conversations about the surface, and Eight, eventually introuced herself as Isis. She wanted him to experience the surface with her, since he hadn't been out there in years. Trident assumed that it would never come to fruition, and that she'd be another lost test subject to Tartar. But then, she splatted Tartar and stopped the AI from destroying the world.

Since then, Trident is just trying to keep the stockholders of Kambaba Co. happy, since he's now the CEO of it. Currently, he runs the trains on their usual route, but has been considering adding trains above land, particularly to that of the new Splatsville that has recently popped up.

Intelligent • Skillful • Attentive

Trident is clever, in his ways of going about undergrond. He knows every single active and inactive route on the back of his hand. One could say the same about his personality. It is hard to get by the whole "sanatized" thing, let alone his seemingly cold and calculating behavior. However, this cold and calculating behavior is just a facade, something Agent Eight saw throught right away. Deep inside, he's scared. He's scared for his company going under after what Tartar did, he's scared for his future as CEO, but most importantly, what he won't admit, is that he's scared for himself. Just what will he become? This absolutely terrifies him. He doesn't want to be a zombie. Trident also doesn't want to be like Tartar. He just wants to be himself.

• He absolutely hates salmonoids, and will murder one in front of its children for entertainment. Won't state why he has such a hatred for them in first place. Eight thinks it has to do with his life before Kambaba co.
• C.Q. Cucumber is his best friend.
• He is deathly afraid of cats, and will run towards the nearest subway entrance if he sees Judd or Little Judd.
• The spots on his hair can glow in the dark, as that is part of his squid type, the firefly type. This is very useful for when he needs to direct the subways to different station tracks. As of late, more and more old tracks are being retired, so he's lighting the way for any late passengers who need to get onto the train at the last moment.
• This is something he doesn't talk about, but before he became sanitized, and before he went to work for Kambaba Co, he was diagnosed with Autism. This is something he finds embarrassing, so he doesn't ever talk about it.
