Not much is known about Isis, other than the seaweed on her head indicating that she used to be an elite soldier for the Octarian army. Some of the octolings in Splatopolis recognize her as one of Octavio's right-hand assassin soldiers, but Isis has no memory of it, after hitting her head so hard in the metro station. She has asked Octavio about her past, but Octavio just grunts and says that "Kid, it's better off you don't know." So for now, until she hits a breakthrough, no one, not even herself, knows her whole past completely.

Isis is a happy octoling, one who is active and playful. She tries to look for the good in everyone, regardless of who they are. But, part of her tends to stuff down any negative emotions she feels, as she doesn't want to be a burden to anyone. Another part of her is fearful over her past. She doesn't know what she's done, and is afraid that she might have hurt or even killed other people. It terrifies her. Really, she just wants to be a normal person. But, can she really be normal when she's got seaweed grafted to her head stating otherwise?

• She has PTSD. The phrase "Test Failed" triggers a panic attack.
• She finds absolute entertainment in dragging Trident out of the underground and forcing him up top for a few hours.
• She wants to know more about the humans, and actually finds them fascinating.
• The sanitized zombies down in the subway freak her out. Triton is the only sanitized zombie that she can tolerate without wanting to get away from.
