🌏Cadet(Thimblet)🛰

  Will elaborate later, but basically...

    When Cadet awoke in Midveil, he found himself in the middle of the woods alone. So naturally, he began wandering around and checking out his surroundings, and out from under a rock was a little rainbow worm. Like a child grabbing for a toy, Cadet snatched the worm up and started running around and playing with him. For the rest of the day, the two foraged, played hide-and-seek, and goofed off without a care in the world.

    The next morning they woke to their growling tummies and began looking in trees, under rocks, and through the stream. But they found nothing. Absolutely nothing. To save themselves from doing nothing, the pair started off to follow the wood's stream, hoping they'd find something at the end. Hours pass. Days. Almost a week before Cadet, carrying Bowie, collapsed from hunger. 

    Twisting light filling Cadet's eyes, he looked around. Nothing again. Until his eyes focused on a colorful shape. In an instant, his fangs lunged at the shape his conscious ravaged from hunger. As his fangs close on the shape, it lets out a heart-wrenching squeal, and the cloudiness from Cadet's mind fades away as he realizes what he's done to his friend. His only friend. Suffering. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" Cadet pleads. But Bowie just nods and rests his head on Cadet, he understands, and he knows the same pain.

    Suddenly, a loud bang emanates from a few meters away. And a tall, dark figure starts muttering and looking around. Moving closer and closer til Cadet's consciousness falters again. 

   With his mind shaking, Cadet manages to power through the pain and win control over his body and open his eyes again. Head still spinning, two words leaks from his mouth as the larger figure is feverously trying to speak to him. "Fooo..d...hungry..." Her eyes bulge and she turns around and begins sprinting as fast as she can. Huffing and breathing heavy, holding the skeleton of a figure in her arms. 

    Slamming open the door, the figure rests Cadet on the counter and begins ruffling through a box. A few seconds later she immerges with some watermelon, water, eggs, bread and shoves it all towards Cadet's slumped over figure. As if in slow motion, his glazed-over eyes sluggishly turn towards the food and paw it towards himself. But slowly, he picks up the pace and throws everything into his mouth, choking a bit on the water he hadn't tasted in days. All at once, he stops and jerks his head around to face the still collapsed gummy worm next to him and shoots some food into its mouth. Like a revive potion, the worm springs to life coughing a bit and gorging on food like Cadet had done moments ago. 

    With tummies bulging and eyes flickering, the two begin to wind down their food craze and fall on the counter, asleep. The larger thimblet sighs in relief and gets up from her chair to place the two rouges on the more comfortable couch.

   Half a day passes and Cadet's eyes open once again, this time brimming with life. Across from him, the larger thimblet sits a few feet away, leaning on in her armchair fast asleep. Quiet as a mouse, Cadet picks up his blanket and gently places it back on Bowie as to not disturb him, tip-toeing over to the mysterious figure. Curiously, he begins petting her hair and touching her peppery freckles and odd patches. As if she was awake all along, her eyes burst open and her bright blue moon eyes blink back at him. "Hello there!" she beams at him. "You gave me quite the fright. My name is Lauren, what's yours?"
